In general, I allow most ordinary NPCs to earn 1xp/day for going about their daily business, training in their 'career'. For that matter, I would probably allow anyone to do this: be it warriors who are in training, commoners engaging in manual labour, or experts sitting at a desk.

I'm a male who has never played a female of charisma less than twelve. But then, I mostly DM, and when I *do* play, I never play characters with an average charisma or worse, irrespective of gender.

Though I'm normally loath to counsel it, try the True Necromancer. At non-epic levels, it's awful due to delayed spell progression. Yet due to the fact you've got cleric and necromancer levels anyway, it might be worth a shot.

As a name, you could go with 'Scion'. I believe there were Scion creatures in the old 2e Higher Level Campaigns book.
