Fond memories of that issue. I had just gotten into Drake's Hammer's Slammers and reading that others liked the book was a nice addition. Great cover of that Dragon as well, stuck out in my memory even to this day. :)

Yeah I didn't agree with his whole issues with movement. I agree with a lot of the other points made though.

I read a review of it on Ars Technica that was pretty brutal. Based on what they shared/wrote, I'd have to agree with much of what they wrote. 🙁

Bad example, you've got two large fan bases here. DnD and Stargate. Hell I'll probably back it because it is Stargate and I'm not really into backing DnD Kickstarters. So thanks for the heads up on the StarGate Kickstarter. (y) :cool:

Backed it, it really looked quite interesting and I was happy that it wasn't DnD 5e. Nothing wrong with 5e mind you, I'm just more of a fan of other systems and want to see more done with other systems like Cypher, GURPS, Savage Worlds, BRP etc. Thanks for doing the interview Egg! (y):)

Yup, that passed through my mind as well. My eldest who was pretty crazy about it back then is a lawyer these days, so he can afford it. I'll have to send him the link in case he's interested.

My kids loved playing that game, specially one of the boys who was obsessed with it for a few years. Good memories.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. Whether or not the revisions/errata corrected those issues that I read about. I've never actually run/played this particular game so I'm only going by what I've read.

Let's hope they do a revision of some of the combat mechanics. They're some serious balance issues from my reading and reading reviews of game play. I do own all of the GoT's material and it's actually a fascinating system but as I said there does appear to be some mechanics balance issues.
