RPG Evolution: Owlbear and Gnoll Terrain

Too busy and bright to be useful as a tool for tabletop with that setup. In my opinion the terrain and items on it should help convey what's going on for players when their characters are in combat or about to be in combat. The stuff in those pictures is noisy, loud colorful which is...

D&D Errata Nerfs Conjuring Spells, Makes Other Changes

Darn it. Thanks to everyone who pointed the above out. I totally missed it. Feeling pretty dense that I missed those links.

D&D Errata Nerfs Conjuring Spells, Makes Other Changes

Am I the only one who missed the clean pdf style errata that you could download and then print up to add to the back of your book for easy reference? I truly detest the layout and design of D&D Beyonds website. Anyone have a possible link on the D&D Beyond website that has a download instead of...

Possum Creek Joins Steve Jackson Games as New RPG Imprint

Seems you are a bit outdated yourself. They migrated to a new website a couple years ago. https://warehouse23.com/

Hehe. I think what mean to say is, "Never post before coffee!" Something I frequently find myself regretting.

Your best bet would be to just stop. Your actions just keep digging yourself deeper into the "I look foolish hole".

Vac Suits and Duct Tape: An Interview with Fenris-77

Good interview. Looking forward to a PoD to add to my PDF of VS&DT as well as being excited to get my hands on Bastion Station once released. I'm interested to see more material built onto the core book basically. Back to the snow cave with you @Fenris-77 ! Need to read Bastion Station!

Black Mask of the Shadow Serpent: An Interview with Fenris-77 (Adam Laforet)

Don't know... Those from the great beyond err north are not to be trusted! Even if they do create fine gaming material.

RPG Print News – Melsonian Arts Council, Goodman Games, and More

I think you need to subtract a decade! ;) AC/DC's Problem Child came out back in 1977 when I was in High School on the "Let there Be Rock" album with the original singer Bon Scott. This album, which got a lot of play in my area of Southern California at the time on radio stations KMET & KLOS.

I truly do not like Palladium Fantasy Rpg 2e. Kevin slapped MDC on everything in sight and it was done in a sloppy sort of way and wasn't needed for PFRPG. I also didn't care for S.D.C. for characters as well. I do have that material but seriously, I am not a fan. I love Rifts, mess and all and...

    Dragon Reflections #85

Very good points. I know back in the day when it came out and I leaped on it, I quickly started making house rules to clear up some mechanics for my table. Some were changes to make some aspects less tedious when we found. All these decades later, the one I recall clearly was changing when armor...

    Dragon Reflections #85

Definitely, I couldn't agree more strongly. D&D continued to evolve and grow, cleaning up issues and making for a better game. Calling Palladium Rpg fixed in amber totally nails it. They could have hired better editors, someone with better skill for balancing mechanics and released a Palladium...

Strongly agree. Palladium Games/Kevin Siembieda has always had a problem with game balance, which only got worse as time went. Also they needed to higher a professional editor to aid them in improving their layout, indexing etc.

    Dragon Reflections #85

First edition Palladium Fantasy Rpg was a lot of fun. No less of a mess than original D&D or 1st edition AD&D in my opinion. It released in 1983 and I ended up taking it to Europe where I spent the next ten years stationed. It was actually my go to ttrpg system until GURPS released in 1986.

Wizards of the Coast's Archetype Entertainment to Publish Exodus TTRPG Based on Upcoming Exodus Video Game

Yeah, and the work he and The Doctors did on mmorpg Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic was really lacking at the time of release. They wouldn't listen to feedback before the release, during and after. All three ended up leaving Bioware with The Doctor's basically retiring in a public...
