    Internet Romance: Dream or Reality?

A friend of mine has married and has had three children with a woman he met online. They have now been living together for about 10 years now... I don't know if there was much internet romance going on, or if they met quickly after encountering on the net, though.

    'The Scream' stolen from Museum

I tend to agree on this. Stealing art is stealing the people's culture. And I'm also against (undisplayed) private collections for this reason

Nifty new gaming aid. Chunky Dungeons- Darkstone Halls

It might be fun to give it a try... I still think that fumbling for the right part and setting up the dungeon room would take me more time than drawing it as I do now, but that may be a misconception. I tried once to game with dungeon tiles, and that's the problem I encountered, looking...

Can you help me twist my characters backround into an even more helpless tangle?

To twist it a bit more, try to explain why she became a cleric of a LG deity in such an environment, and the relations she had with her mentor... It could be fun to explain how a LG cleric of a dragon deity ended teaching the way of his god to an Elf that lives in a LE community...

3 PCs (Party Level 6) "breeze" through EL 9 encounter

I believe it's got to do with the fact that Rogues shouldn't go toe to toe with fighters... But even rogues can be deadly, if they use good strategy. This week end, my group of 6 players (lvl 6 rogue, lvl 6 dual-wielding fighter, lvl 3/3 Cleric/Wizard, lvl 4/2 Fighter/Sorcerer) was nearly killed...

This is what Epic heroes are supposed to be like - Jet Li's "Hero"

I had more fun watching Hero than watching Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

Hellgate Keep --- Adventure Ideas for RPGA Adventure

Hellgate Keep and Cormanthor are two of the reasons why I love the FR: you don't have to go plane-hopping to find high-level adventures! Make sure to show us the finished product! I also did not know about the RPGA campaign, I'll go and check it out... BTW, is there a RPGA message board...

Does your spouse/significant other game with you?

I introduced my girlfriend to gaming. We started dating and then living together a bit before the release of 3e, so when she saw me buy books for nearly 100€, she was rather intrigued (we were students, so 100€ for something other than beer was a lot!), so she asked me about it. After some...

Forgotten Realms and The Great Wheel

I tend to disagree about real-world gods... Tyr is clearly from earth, and the Mulhorandi (sp?) and Untheric pantheons are too... Personally, I tend to use both... The planes as described in the new FR books are parts of the planes in the Great Wheel. You cannot go to another place on the...

Posted review of WoD2 core rulebook.

I tend to agree on the fact that I had high hopes, but reading reviews, I'm kinda disappointed...

    Are we tired?

The only thing I'm tired of about RPG and D20, is the fact that I can't play as often as I'd like, and that I always have to DM. I have so many ideas for long term development of a character that I'd like to be a player for once, but with two new players in my group, another that isn't too good...

How do your players view the Purple Dragons?

My players are working for them at the moment, but believe they're much to strict to their tastes. Losing an hour every time they arrive in a new city to papers checking get on their nerves... As far as always arriving late during the fights, that's a bit normal IMO. A typical fight lasts less...

New adventures from Wizards - policy reversal!!!

I totally agree with you on that one... If I just get adventures as good as their "adventure path", I'm not sure I'll buy them... However, if they can give me something interesting, that can be good news, their production standards being much higher than other companies' (mainly because the cost...

Nifty new gaming aid. Chunky Dungeons- Darkstone Halls

This looks good, but that gives even more prep work to the DM... I personally prefer to spend more time preparing the story and NPC's than the dungeon itself... And it saves me money! :)

DMs: How many (city) encounters do you have in 1 game day? or "PCs in Cities"

Same thing here, except when they're in the city for downtime... City adventures are great fun, since I can throw many encounters completely unrelated to the current plot at my players. Really fun to see them trying to understand which NPC is interesting for the adventure, and which one is only...

    Anyone visiting GenCon UK?

I'm from Belgium too, and I planned to go this year. However, seeing the cost of entrance and accomodation, I decided to think it over twice... Then me and my girlfriend decided to buy a house... So, no GenCon for me! :p
