Hey - I might have taken a long break (and have only 120 victories!) but I'm baaaaaack... I'm currently causing pain to trolls. They have more hitpoints but I have better stats. I was doing quite well against dragons, then died three times in a row, so I'm nursing my wounds until I can get one...

Reading, the internet, video games, singing, dancing, wandering around in the sunshine, and pretty much anything that involves a combination of good friends and good food. :) I need more exercise, and want to find some way of exerting myself that's actually fun!

Well, I'm single, and a girl, and a gamer. I wouldn't say I was starved for affection (yay for stacks of friends who love me!) but if I was looking for an SO I'd definitely be after a gamer. I wouldn't say gaming defines who I am - at least not totally! - but it's a fairly major part of my life...

My little 1st-level characters haven't levelled yet (they got max HP at 1st). I'm not sure yet what method I'll use, but I'm leaning towards straight roll. I do have one player (hello S'mon!) who will probably want to take average, though. :)

Hehehehe. Yes. :) In the last year or so of play in S'mon's game: Maryse, Lilliana (cohort), Galak, Sol, Elros, Cho (raised, then retired), Rhianne, Aos, Titania (cohort), Saphie, Barak. And possibly several more that I can't remember. :) Definitely need a 9+ option!

OK, I ran an intro vignette and the house robbery scenario, though cool, is not going to work any more. Oh well, it might come around some other time, I'm keeping it on the back burner (I could easily run it at higher levels when the house could have cooler defences). My two PCs are Jonnie...

Whoo hoo! Ran a short session, around an hour, on Saturday and it went really well! My PCs are really cool, we played very fast and loose with the rules - which made for some great moments that would have been so much less cool if we'd done them by the PHB - and had some great PC to PC...

Hm. I guess I get different things out of the game than you, kiznit! I'm not a great fan of "the rules for their own sake" - if I'm choosing Multishot for my character, I guess it's for style points rather than because it's the best thing off the crunchy-bits shopping list! Don't get me wrong...

As a DM, I like to give my PCs 32-pt buy. It gives them the edge over my monsters and makes them slightly cooler than the general populace. For a campaign where I wanted the PCs to be True Heroes with abilities far beyond ordinary folks, I'd probably use 35-pt buy or the Conan rolling method...

Hmm. I consider myself a "real role player", in that I really role play. Part of my enjoyment from playing RPGs comes from playing a character and telling that character's story (or helping my PCs to tell their story, if I'm the DM). But I'm definitely not allergic to playing characters who are...
