About the dice rolling mechanic for Dread... I agree that physically pulling the blocks from the tower and all the stress that comes from it is all part of the game no doubt. It's really that 'prop' that makes the game. It's like if you played D&D with a deck of cards instead of rolling dice...

Well... I think BW is a good read. Really makes you think about role-playing and choosing actions that a (your) character actually would do. And the very core task resolution system of the game without any strings attached is nice. But good golly when I did play the game it felt more like doing...

Ah that clears things up then, thanks RFisher. Maybe I'll use my D&D - Dungeon Tiles as templates and/or create my own and use them to help build custom ship schematics.
