    Iron Age Celtic setting ideas...

It seemed like it was getting more heavily steeped into the honor system. The only thing I'm thinking may be a bit too setting dependent would be the fey step/path sensing. I'm thinking that should be maybe some sort of optional bonus feat, or maybe just include a sidebar of a "If your...

Well some of the problems have been addressed. I like the ancestral power groups and the clan focus you had set up before. I would have suggested you keep one or the other, but not ditch both. You're going a route with this material that makes it less appealing by making the class so tied to...

I think it's mostly a step in the right direction. Many of the things I pointed out as problems/addressed didn't get covered in revision 3, or the second copy of revision 3. Shields have armor check penalties in pathfinder core. they have penalties of 1, 2, or 10 (tower shield)

Well, I like your draft two a hell of alot more than draft one. Its starting to be a unique class, worthwhile of taking. I'm going to critique it now, and point out the areas that need more work. I'm not sure I like the distinction between celtic and nonceltic weapons in terms of weapon...

    Casting with Concentration

I think I like Dammitbiscuit's adjustment. It makes you still have to consider using your high level spells vsa low level, regardless of what level you actually are, whereas before, a 5th level wizard could spam 3rd level spells or first level spells at equal difficulty. Why use magic missile...

    Favored Class? Why Use it?

Hmm. TBH I wasn't so much concerned about powergaming, as another issue. But I'm going to respond to your post before I elaborate. I'm not a fan of XP Penalties. I won't let my players pick up a new class unless I approve it anyways, so if they can't explain why they have it, they can't have...

    Casting with Concentration

I agree with Milo. The system looks pretty good, except the number of spells you can cast in a day is far less. Perhaps some sort of addition, like a pool mechanic, that casters can use for lowering the DC to cast a spell, or to ignore the number of castings already in effect? Maybe a pool of...

    Favored Class? Why Use it?

I was okay with the 3.5 and PFBeta way of thought where Favored Classes were tied to a race or culture, and could get behind that. I wouldn't mind the idea that favored class be determined culturally, so humans from different places or walks of life would have different favored classes, and...

I don't like the 'roll randomly' part, but other than that I'm starting to like where this is going. My comments on the AGP being too much like hybrid classes, sorry, I was thinking the third party book Tome of Secrets. I have no objection to the creation of new classes, so long as they are...

Pathfinder 1E What project would you like Paizo to tacke next for Pathfinder?

In a game I'm playing in right now, the GM has retrofit Ptolus to go into Golarion. He put it right next to Absalom. It's working pretty well right now.

The alretnate Fighter build was pretty good. The only reason I didn't like Clan Warior is it wasn't really unique enough to warrant a new class. This is pretty cool. It suffers from some of the same problems as the classes in the AGP (Which Is why I don't use them much...) It may be well...

    Iron Age Celtic setting ideas...

Well, I remember seeing somewhere that written lore for Celtic stuff is Carved, and many bards would put stories into staves. For the Wizard, I'd suggest you use a slightly different system than Tattoos. Spells are carved into a wizard's staff. Scrolls would still work, but wouldn't be made of...

What do people play more of nowadays?

Yeah, I was under the impression when I made this thing that every vote would be accountable, and that you would have to be signed in to vote. That is what I would have preferred. Polls that don't require a user to log in are obviously less reliable. I had not realized that 'just anyone'...

What do people play more of nowadays?

Well, mostly I wanted to see the following, even though I can't take a very accurate sample: How many people prefer 4e How many people prefer PFRPG (and other 3.5 derivatives) How many people prefer 3e/3.5e How many people prefer AD&D How many people prefer old-style D&D and similar games and...

    Better Conversion Guide

I can give a suggestion, but it's definitely not a quick guide. I've don it a bit, but there isn't a quick document for it. Get the Upper Krust CR document v5 (it's floating around on this site) Price out the stuff you're building using that, use the numbers it gives you as a guideline...

What do people play more of nowadays?

I see what you mean. If you pull up the page for checking things, and look under other, it says there are 47 right now, but there are only 25 names listed.

What do people play more of nowadays?

Sorry, I played C&C once, and I heard it and BFRPG and OD&D were ery similar in terms of play even though theyre not from the same era. If I was wrong I was misinformed. I haven't played bfrpg, or OD&D, likewise for some of the other games. By similarity I guess. I haven't seen or played them...
