Have the party spellcasters load up on force spells, and things that do holy damage. Force should work on almost any dragon that would be appropriate for your level, barring things like a brooch of shielding, and from all accounts, the dragon sounds evil, so holy damage should work well too...

Counterspelling is a great tactic for bards! Sure you can't cast 9th level spells like the wizard, but your caster level is just as high as an equally levelled wizard, so you can counter him all day! Add in Dispel and Greater Dispel, and the bard can really hinder opposing spellcasters. My gnome...

Universal Brotherhood for Shadowrun. Creative layout and presentation. Awesome plot twists. Great suspense. I'd also give a nod to Hunter the Reckoning: The Walking Dead for many of the same reasons.

Bard. No doubt about it. He can fill in for any of the other roles. He's not as potent as the main class for that role, but he can backup everyone. And the Bardic Music buffs get pretty potent too.
