OOC :I had completely read over the prereq there and misspelled the feat.. :o I reapplied the character with corrections added (changed the weapon focus and renamed the combat expertise feat), so everything should be in order. I just hope I can make myself useful. :)

Try tvtome or at least what was tvtome in the past they have episode guides for the ones you missed.

I'd recomend "The Wasp Factory" by Iain Banks very gritty but non SF/Fantasy.

And the requierment: - able to house several hundred thousands of soldiers (with families) and undead. it's a bit over the top. Really, hundred thousand soldiers are considderd to be an army, usually quite a large one. And boy do they eat. Just my thoughts on that. Don't forget the sanitary...

Still that means that the difference between a 3rd lvl spell and 7th lvl spell in this case is removing the dam. cap and adding a delay option. Do you find that en acceptable increase in lvl's for the return in power ? I'm not trying to get into a flamewar on the fact that some spell is broken...

I had been toying with this for quite some time and recently reading a thread in the general forum on wizard having to find their spells instead of just choosing some as they gain levels. What I mean is what is the difference between the power of spells from 2de level compared to 3rd level, and...

There have been some people here stating that the chosing of spells should be restricted to the PHB spells. I don't realy agree with this. In almost all of the campaings that I have played in or dm'ed 99% of the spells originated from the PHB and the most usefull spells are there anyway...

Ha, my old wizard did nothing else. That was back in the 2e era. The only way for my character to get new spells was to either find them(scrolls and tomes), trade for them with other mages or research them. I remember I realy wanted a lightning bolt spell... but getting it wasn't that easy...
