16 months smoke free... It can be done, I only think about it everyother day now.:) Rough last quarter but lifes pretty good all in all.

You would have to pipe the smoke to the Paraplane of smoke... I think the denizens of the plane of air would get rather miffed if you pumped smoke into their plane, don't you?

Tech was out of its infancy the day the wheel was born... the day the first lever was used... Tech is about tools, the search for better tools by which to do the tasks which life requires of us, thus freeing up you time to do other things, things you enjoy. I'm not so sure elves wouldn't buy...

Lets not forget that the side with the factories and Tech would also have magic... so the vermin horde dies from Cloud Kill and the Druids now have to deal with the counter strike. I agree with SD Magic vs Tech and Magic is a more likely outcome.

The Big Realms book had a nifty feat which would solve your dilima... Cosmopolitan (insert skill). Cosmop. makes a non restricted skill a class skill for you and gives you a +2 when using it.... thus your villian would have Intimidate as a class skill and a +2 to it.

Spellcasting Prodigy is a fine feat... its not over the top. Remember the enemy can have it too... the same with Haste, Improved Invisability, Etc...

Haste is fine as is. I can not fathom how so many have such an issue with this spell... two spells a round at mid to high levels barely keeps pace with the damage delt by the fighter types. An extra fire ball at mid on up is about 17.5 hps of damage, cone of cold is 26.25... have you seen what...
