Copy of Those Pesky Orcz arrived today and looking through it, it's worse than I expected Huge parts of it are literally copy-pasted from Goblinz: Those Pesky Goblinz. A Role-Playing Game by Justin LaNasa. First hilarious editing error (good work Mick) is on page 7 (effectively the first page...

A quick search confirms there is no registered trademark, nor would I expect there to be one. Ernie's not a plucky young entrepreneur looking to build an empire, he's an old man with a bad ticker who just spent a good chunk of his finite life in a hospital bed being impressed with himself that...

I believe Umbran's point is that Justin wouldn't bother to go ask Ernie to review the book, weigh it up and decide if he approves or not - he'd just apply it there and tell Ernie it's good actually. Ernie for his part, almost certainly is more concerned about other things given his recent brush...

According to Don's video review, Dave did the module which presumably takes up half the book. I feel this puts a very different spin on the book having 88 pages.

And like... to be fair, Justin doesn't address this with any of the respect it actually deserves or as evidence of respect, etc. It's just in there as a generic disease detection and someone it also enables you to cure disease once a week. Pee actually has a pretty fascinating history of...

This is two for two Justin LaNasa games that he's released as RPGs for your family that involve pee stuff, specifically drinking it. Makes you wonder if there's something Justin wants to share with the class. I guess at least this time its consensual... so that's improvement... kind of.

The Googlebooks entry has both the summary about their colourations and the original black & white artwork on it.... so it seems likely that they had the opportunity to fix it. The early prints of Goblinz had ridiculous errors like random carriage returns mid-sentence and all of them have...

I take comfort in knowing it's not that hard to do $9.15 in psychic damage to him, based on his reactions to criticism in the past. If only I could also do psychic damage to Bezos. Also briefly, can we talk about how clearly the guy who coloured the cover art (which I believe is Mick McArt...

I've placed my order and will provided detailed review. The bad news, since they use Amazon print on demand I'm pretty sure most of the money went to Bezos instead.

I love the slugs on his products: But in any case, before this thread devolves entirely into pin-pointing pieces out of context and asking how is it actually/not racist - I feel it's fun to point out the evolution of how bad these are in terms of marketing an actual product that isn't an...

Interestingly it seems to be double the length of Goblinz (88 pages instead of 44) but also like... a lot of copy and pasting the same designs etc. I am waiting to see if it's just more spells copy-pasted from AD&D or if there is going to be magic items descriptions to clog up the page count.

TSR The Full & Glorious History of NuTSR

It was from September 2021, he was in full paranoia mode at the time since he was both dealing with people asking for refunds because they didn't want to support transphobia, and weirdos spamming "get woke, go broke" at him. His sales had tanked: And he'd also just had his hilarious tantrum on...
