    Oathbound - an overlooked setting?

I hear he started a cabana in Eclipse. I was surprised too, but my sources are good. Now what's up with Barbello? That gal is angry. What do you think the therapy bill will be if her, mommy Israfel, and daddy Bound God ever get back together?

The official Bastion Press Q&A thread

There's a boatload of stuff awaiting layout. Wildwood, Lore of the Gods, A&H 3.5, Airships 3.5. I'm making it my personal mission to clone Jim.

The official Bastion Press Q&A thread

There aren't any additional books on Wildwood planned past the first, so no. It's something completely different from Oathbound. Personally, the Castlemorn thing took me completely by surprise. It basically just showed up in my inbox one day with "Look through this, slave" in the header.

    Oathbound - an overlooked setting?

Well, the calendar is very easily ignored. I mentioned it at the beginning of my campaign, and then promptly forgot about it, so it hasn't come up again. There's no reason you couldn't substitute some other calendar. Like any other campaign setting, there are things that not everyone will...

Nice to see you again Dr. Strangemonkey! :) You should drop by the Oathbound forums sometime.

    Oathbound - an overlooked setting?

I think it's an interesting idea, but I see two potential problems. 1. It's kind of the same thing as giving stats to a god, someone's gonna want to kill it. If the citadels are mapped out, someone, somewhere, is going to want to lay siege to the thing. Personally, I view the citadels of the...

    Great, that sounds really handy.

    Oathbound - an overlooked setting?

Yep, the Prestige Race mechanic is basically being totally reworked. The new version will first appear in Wildwood, and a majority of current (and some new) PrRs will be revised in the Oathbound Player's Guide. A smidgeon of info can be found here...

So, as a newshound, you'd consolidate fansite updates and submit them to the frontpage here at ENWorld?

    Oathbound - an overlooked setting?

The actual "cost" for a key of binding is up in the air. Oft times, they need to be found. According to O: DotF, each key is unique. In my campaign, a key of binding is something a character needs to create themselves, using something (unique to each person) from each domain. It ain't easy...

    Oathbound - an overlooked setting?

I'm not too familiar with these two series. Can you describe a little more what they offer that you like?

    Oathbound - an overlooked setting?

qstor: The first post in this thread links to a setting overview. As to the Hub, I haven't been updating it too much because I was under the impression not too many folks were looking at it, and I was going to devote my energy elsewhere. Am I wrong?

    Oathbound - an overlooked setting?

Every single day I learn something I wish I could immediately unlearn. :D Hey Joe, if you want more Banewarrens brainstorming, come on back over to OB.net. I'm game. As for support, what sort of things (besides the domain books) does everyone like to see? Adventures, locations, NPCs...

    Druid Wild Shape forms

A wildshaped druid is a magical beast, so animal growth won't work on yourself.

    Good sources for underwater monsters?

I second Into the Blue from Bastion Press. There are some very interesting monsters in there, particularly if you're looking for undead underwater critters. This would probably fit the pirate theme particularly well.

    Good alchemy/herbology rules for non-spellcasters?

Bastion's Alchemy and Herbalists will be coming out in PDF in the future. I just finished converting it to 3.5 about a month ago. I think it's by far the best rules on the topic out there.

[Oathbound] Mysteries of Arena OGC posted

Do you want to start an Oathbound campaign, but aren't sure of a plotline? This week at the Hub, we introduce the OSIRIS campaign, a covert-ops story depicting the underground battle between Beacon and Penance. Episode 1: Introductions gets the party together and introduces their handler, the...

[Oathbound] Mysteries of Arena OGC posted

It's an acronym. The first two episodes will be posted Monday. The general feel and mood of the campaign hearkens to Alias, and perhaps James Bond. My players liked it, and I enjoy writing it; hopefully others will find it interesting, useful, and fun.

[Oathbound] Mysteries of Arena OGC posted

Oathbound fansite the Hub has posted the Open Game Content from Mysteries of Arena. Included are all the Prestige Classes, Player Races, and Prestige Races from that book. Of course, the OGC from previous Oathbound releases can be found as well. The weekly newmag the Penance Proclaimer, fan...

Any "ready to run out of the box" RPG games out there?

I'll second Oathbound. Each of the books has an adventure in the back that can be linked into a nice campaign, or played independently. World's Largest Dungeon would also be a good choice if you're looking for a challenging dungeon crawl.
