    I'm Published! A Writer's POV

I'd be tempted to take a look at it just by your nick alone. It is memorable. And also intrigued to find out what concept got dropped by two publishers after they "lost interest" in it. Send me an email, since you have your PM turned off on the boards.

    Origins 2004

I probably should have put my enworld nick on my badge at some point, since I only wore my enworld t-shirt the first day I was there. You met me manning the Bastion Press booth along with Steve.

    Hal is back...

Welcome back Hal. Did someone have to give you pants to reboot you? Too bad this post didn't come in before I headed off to Origins. You now have 3 weeks to get used to emails again before you get innudated with the artists we told not to contact you for a few weeks.

    DQG - Lost Prehistorica

It is indeed. We found the materials. Somewhere along the line we had two revisions with the same number. The editors however continued with their numbering, and didn't merge in the other changes. My error. It won't be ready this week though, as I'm off to Origins.

Angelsboi passed away 16 Jun 04 (was: Angelsboi Health Update)

It had been a while since I was in touch with Ryan. I was just thinking about the old campaign he ran over on goandroleplay.com. As the titles of those d20 modern games went, they seem appropriate at this time. Ryan was a light, a light that was fading. The shadows have risen to overtake...

    DQG - Lost Prehistorica

I'll have to look into it. I know we converted it all to 3.5 before release. I may have put the wrong version of the stats in the final product, in which case it will be updated shortly and you will receive a replacement.

    Curing Lycanthropy... Lost Levels?

I don't know exactly what the werewolf levels give you.. but I'd say no. You'd probably still be that class and levels, but be unable to utilize any abilities the class gave you. Skills, Saves, and HP would still be intact. I do believe Unearthed Arcana gives an precident to this with regards...

    Ignoring a flanker

Well. they'd already get the nasty sneak attack damage from the flank anyway. But I do agree, that makes sense. On thing I'd probably do is require a Will Save though.. People flinch even when they know things won't hurt them. Make it a reasonable save, but still have the chance that you...

Using Index Cards for PC gear

I currently use it in the game we are playing now. Not a requirement by the DM for everything.. but most potions and other expendables come to us on cards with the descriptions. We all keep binders for our characters, since we have tons of notes. My character keeps a campaign journal. The...

Er, I think DriveThruRPG destroyed my computer...

Good to hear that you were able to get everything back up and running. Blame it on the mcirosoft conspiracy....hmm, although the DRM installation probably didn't help.

    Barrel of Alchemist's Fire

Something to consider... Is the damage from the alchemist's fire coming from a blast, or from the flaming contents? I always thought it was from the flaming contents, and it didn't create an explosion. My line of thinking means that the impact of a barrel splatters the stuff futher... and...

    LULU.com

The most common error I've heard from them is missing the print on pages. Note, the I don't think I've heard of a single POD that makes no mistakes. However, as a publisher I don't see the processes as truly acceptable unless they don't make the mistakes. Because any mistakes the customer...

Er, I think DriveThruRPG destroyed my computer...

Actually that is a component that Internet Explore has a handle on... I've had corrupted Internet Explorer files cause the same problem. But usually that doesn't bother the control panel. That is a problem. Versions of Internet Explorer prior to 6, when you chose add/remove in the control...

What books do you use EVERY session?

Toolbox sees heavy use in the current campaign I'm playing in. But then again the ENnie the DM earned for it is sitting on the shelf behind him. of course the ability to just grab one of several hundred books from the shelves around us for use, tends to limit the number of books that see use...
