Posted! I've read it so many times I can't even see it anymore. I agree, 1500 words was no easier than 750 - still was trimming words here and there to "spend them" somewhere else. So much more I wanted to do with it, so few words to do it with!

Adventure is done. Exactly 1500 words. Almost scrapped my first concept entirely in despair trying to get it to fit in 1.5k, then realized I had to tighten it up. A lot. Trimmed most of the fat and hopefully none of the meat. Now to let it sit and hope it isn't all gristle when I read it again...

I agree. As tough as the word limit was, it was kinda fun. Forced you to fine tune to the bare essentials. I've never spent so much time tweaking individual words or gone over my draft so many times for an Iron DM, maybe because my default is huge 10+ page monstrosities so I don't have time to...
