Game Calendar. Do you have one?

Yep, in my homebrew I have a calendar and keep accurate records of the passage of time. I took the month names from the French Revolutionary calendar (aka Republican calendar), though the number of days per month and other things are according to my own desires.

Anakin's path to darkness too steep! (SPOILERS)

Quick aside....how was the book? any good?

RotS - live action or animation movie? (Spoilers)

I could be wrong, but I think that the twi'lek jedi (and other twi'leks) were real people, judging by the fact that the coloration and texture of their head tales didn't match the rest of their skin so well and it looked like they were held on by the headress.

How long do your battles take

I said an hour or more, but I don't agree that people are falling asleep. We have 8 player party so things are bound to take a while.

Angelfire 3 - You got what you wanted, are you happy?

Though not pre-painted, Reaper makes a good dark creeper. And if you don't mind just a bit of painting, it should be a pretty easy one, mostly black of grey with a few highlights.

    Boston ENworld Game Day–Mission Accomplished

I too had a great time. It was cool to see everyone, and both nasrat's Red Star game and Qualidar's Bughunters were a blast. Good stuff!

    Boston ENworld Game Day–Mission Accomplished

Hey, my new job has been keeping me pretty busy so I haven't had much EN World time lately, but I'm looking forward to the games. Nasrat, hopefully I'll get a chance to check out your site in the next two days, but there's a good chance that it might not happen and I'll just have to show up and...

Is it fun being an adult?

I like being an adult, just as I liked every other age, except maybe the junior high years. They sucked. Seriously though, at every other point in my life, I've always enjoyed where I was at, and I've never minded getting older either. As much fun as I had say when I was in college, I...

    gameoutfitter.com

I recently used them0 for the first time to order a case of Deathknell and four packs of Giants of Legend. The GoL shipped right away but when they arrived there was no indication that the Deathknells were on back order so I had to email them. However they responded promptly and the case ended...

    Boston ENworld Game Day–Mission Accomplished

Qualidar - I got your email about the above change, but when I tried to reply it bounced back. At any rate, no problem, and Bughunters is cool with me.

It's Time To Buy a New Bicycle...

I've been very happy with the Marin Novato that I bought last summer. I used it to commute 16 miles each way across Boston and a couple suburbs through the late summer and fall (until I got laid off) and have recently started breaking it out again for the 13 mile commute to my new job*. It's...

Red Steel/Savage Coast setting -- thoughts?

Well, it wasn't around long enough to build up too much of a following, plus I think the fact that it was presented as a subsetting of Mystara turned a lot of people away. It's a shame.

Red Steel/Savage Coast setting -- thoughts?

Okay, I guess I stand corrected about the guns, I just remembered it having lots of Wild West flavor while still remaining definately fantasy.

[Forgotten Realms] Nomads in the Plains of Purple Dust?

Yep, plus dervish type nomads abound in the old Desert of Desolation series, the supermodule version of which is set in Raurin. According to map scales in that module and the old Horde boxed set, the Desert of Desolation would stretch well into the Plains of Purple Dust, though it wouldn't...

Red Steel/Savage Coast setting -- thoughts?

Just to clarify, Champions of Mystar does not cover the same ground as the Red Steel sets. Champions describes Sind, the Serpent Peninsula, Slagovich and a few other areas west of the Known World, but the portion of the coast portrayed in Red Steel is even further west, beyond that. I enjoyed...

ENWorld Adventure Path: A Modest Proposal

Well, that's awfully harsh. I wasn't trying to rain on any one's parade, simply trying to point out what seemed to me to be a valid concern if you're planning on releasing it here as you described. Generally the powers that be here try to keep things fairly legit. You're certainly not going...

Yeah, I thought about that when I was typing that up.

Help! Empire of Iuz & Greenreach

So depending on how long your sessions are, you might even be able to keep them busy simply avoiding trouble, getting caught in a brawl between orc soldiers and humans, trying to avoid capture, etc. For something more involved, they could get involved with whatever the marilith's got going on...

Help! Empire of Iuz & Greenreach

I hope this is okay, I've posted the relevant blurb from Carl Sargent's Iuz the Evil below. It's about .05% of an out of print book so I don't think it should be a big deal, but mods feel free to delete it if you disagree. Datewise, this write up is current to the From the Ashes period, after...

ENWorld Adventure Path: A Modest Proposal

If we're going to release this as a .PDF, won't we have to avoid Star Wars, GH, FR, Eberron and anything else that is someone's protected IP?
