Build A Campaign From The Sands of Desert Planet

That looks like an interesting book, I hope that they release it as a pdf.

    The DUNE RPG

I did some playtest work for Conspiracy X back in the day. Glad to hear that George is still around these days.

D&D General Forgotten Realms geographic changes.

I used to refer to the old Forgotten Realms Atlas and the The Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas, the latter was pretty good as I could easily print out area maps for the players to look at. Once they started changing the maps that's probably when I lost interest in the realms.

Tomb of Gyzaengaxx from Luke Gygax

Many thanks for the answers to my questions. Glad to hear that you have a good writing team to get this beast written, have you sorted out a top notch editor to wrangle the words into shape? I was asking about the handouts as while I have seen some other people produce fantastic looking...

Tomb of Gyzaengaxx from Luke Gygax

I was initially drawn to the alumni attached to the image and thought that these people were somehow involved in the writing and editing of the product. If they aren't, then who is doing the writing and editing on the book? As a superbacker it takes more than just some puffery and shiny...

Tomb of Gyzaengaxx from Luke Gygax

Well that looks like a pretty impressive product but it does come at a premium price. I'm seeing ads for it all over my socials so I wonder how much they're spending on advertising to promote it, quite a lot by the look of it. Having an army of writers and editors should allow them to whip the...

Should a TTRPG have a singular Core Rulebook or more?

Now that's a whole other paradigm shift :-)

Should a TTRPG have a singular Core Rulebook or more?

I don't think I ever saw the first edition boxed set, as the only edition I'm familiar with was the version printed by Games Workshop under licence.

    Kickstarter Deal-Breakers (Poll)

I also won't back a project for a different set of dice. Back in the day I pledged for the Pulse FATE dice but cancelled my pledge as another project needed extra shipping. Looks like I dodged a bullet there.

Should a TTRPG have a singular Core Rulebook or more?

I think the old FASA Star Trek boxed set had three books, one for the players, one for the GM and a setting book for Starfleet. I'd go for the three book model plus one book for extra setting materiels that can be used by all.

Spoilers Madam Web Review with Spoilers

I saw it a few days ago and I thought it was just average at best. For me the number of writers is concerning and lead to the muddled story. The one thing that just irked me is the plot thread while mentioned a few times and is never tied up.

Advice for setting up a Discord server for running TTRPGs

In case people want to set it up for their own server this is how you do it https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011876531-Setting-up-Priority-Speaker

Advice for setting up a Discord server for running TTRPGs

One thing I did was to create a GM role and assign it priority speaking. I know you have to set push to talk to make it work but I did find it useful in certain situations with players who idly chat and won't quiet down.

    Kickstarter Deal-Breakers (Poll)

If I can't obtain a digital copy of the book I'm no longer interested in the project. Also, one project I ran into had a somewhat hostile tweet from a creator lamenting that they should have the power to cancel all the pledges of a tier just to deal with those people who backed at a dollar.

I remember listening to his afternoon show, such a great voice and a wonderful cast of characters. The captain with the fishy fingers :-)

    Who’s your best Batman?

It's a nice touch to have Keaton entertain in the kitchen in the Flash movie. It seems to be his favourite place in the manor.
