    Non Magical Weapon Properties

I wouldn't call improving the crit range of a weapon a little tweak; that's the rough equivalent of putting the keen enchantment on, actually. Possible weapon improvements: masterwork: +1 enhancement bonus to-hit, costs +300 gp (from the rules) hardened: +1 hardness tempered: +2 hit points...

Casting/activating before you hit the ground

Feather fall is an immediate action. The wizard automatically succeeds, in my book. If he has a standard action left after he jumps, he's fine. If he has to wait until next round, he might be in trouble. In 6 seconds (one round), he can fall 576 feet. 16 ft the first second, 48 the second...

Stargate SG-1:Season 9 7.22.05 *No Spoilers caps required*

I think they're floundering a bit since they apparently took out the gouald for once and for all. It's only the second episode of what is effectively a spinoff series, at this point. I'll give it more time than this.

Stargate SG-1:Season 9 7.22.05 *No Spoilers caps required*

OK, so, I missed the first episode of this season to be at a friend's wedding. Where did ONeil and Carter go? Neither were in this episode. Edit: and may I just say, that naming that guy Cameron Mitchell is kinda unfortunate from my point of view. See, there's a locally (columbus, ohio)...

Challenging my high-lvl group (NPCs and monsters; my players shouldn't read this!)

Ring of Incontinence. Aw, heck, Nolin's gone. They did retrieve the ring, didn't they?

    jumping hight

Shouldn't make a difference. Feather fall makes you fall at 10' per second, so unless you're more than 60' in the air (requiring a jump DC of 240) you'll hit the ground by the end of the round, precisely as you would if you had jumped normally. You won't get a useful sideways glide out of it...

Where do fiends come from? (Cosmology)

In my head, the angels that fall DO tend to become unique individuals. Titivilius, Grazzt, whoever, were originally angels, and fell, and assumed their unique appearances after millenia of self-shaping and environmental shaping. A bunch of them that were follower types became undifferentiated...

    Shadow Conjuration

"Shadow conjuration can mimic any sorcerer or wizard conjuration (summoning) or conjuration (creation) spell of 3rd level or lower." "Shadow objects or substances have normal effects except against those who disbelieve them. Against disbelievers, they are 20% likely to work." Phantom Steed...

    D20 Future Trademark Usage

If d20 future isn't a registered trademark, and it isn't listed in the d20 system license as one of the prohibited trademarks, it would be really hard for Wizards to argue that someone is in breach of that license for mentioning something it doesn't explicitly prohibit. They could try, and they...

    D20 Future Trademark Usage

It's not in the System Trademark Guide. I searched the US Patent and Trademark Office website. It doesn't look like anyone owns a trademark on "D20 Future". WotC has the "D20 System", including the little logo. They also have "D20 Modern". Doesn't look like they filed for D20 Future, so...

Can Anyone Help - PDF DTRPG FFG Problem

Try their message boards, and their contact emails. You bought from DriveThru, not FFG directly, so that's who you should be talking to. Give them one more chance, but if they ignore your email again (make sure you're including transaction numbers and such from the purchase), or don't provide...

White Wolfs pay to play deal...

Nobody insulted him to start out with. They questioned the policy, Justin came in and started insulting them, and lying to them. Then someone who was actually supposed to speak for WW posted that yes, the bad interpretations of the license agreement were right (so Justin had been wrong all...

White Wolfs pay to play deal...

    b) is not true, according to the text of their "license" and answers to questions from WW staff. If it costs you money to rent a room to play in, and you pass that cost on to your players, they want this to apply to you. It's bull, of course. They can't retroactively put a license agreement...

White Wolfs pay to play deal...

This cannot possibly be to enforce their trademarks. Trademark law doesn't recognize a difference between infringing a trademark for profit and infringing it without profiting. If I write Harry Potter fanfic and give it away, I am infringing upon that trademark as much as if I were attempting...

    Ultimate Nightmare

Arrrr. Have you seen the TPB? Stupid people at Marvel put a subtitle on it that gives away the whole thing. I hates them, my precious, yes. What the heck were they thinking?

    Marvel Ultimate Series

So, I mainly read Ultimate X-Men and The Ultimates. I typically wait until they're out in paperback form, because single issues of comics are so short that they bore me. So I'm not into Ultimates 2 yet, for instance, because it hasn't been collected. I keep hearing recommendations for...

    Weapons

That's your problem, not his. Fantasy games are different things to different people, and if he enjoys it, what do you care? Is his fun hurting your fun? You can imagine dragons, wizards, clerics smiting with holy fire, and he can do all that plus big giant swords, and he's the silly one...
