D&D 5E (2014) Barbarian, Why Do You Rage?

Well in 5e 'why I rage' could be strongly influenced by which subclass I took. I mean when ghosts of my ancestors are summoned by my Rage I might just be trying to prove I'm not the son of the Mailman like Dad always said.

WotC Unpopular Opinion: WotC is the Bethesda of RPG Companies

That makes it the Anti Elder Scrolls then :D

AD&D 2E Which is the better fantasy rpg and why: D&D 5e or Pathfinder 2e?

I think that WotC has said that out of new players more than half have seen streamed D&D games before playing. A part of that is that 5e is very stream friendly compared to 4E or Pathfinder. And yes I do think seeing Jocks Machina (Big guys like Travis and Joe) completely bro-ing out over D&D...

AD&D 2E Which is the better fantasy rpg and why: D&D 5e or Pathfinder 2e?

I think the rise of streaming with Critical Role and the like has had something to do with it too. Of course CR switched from PF to 5e when they started airing their sessions.

    The mandalorian [Spoilers]

Any new parent figures out that once a child is mobile they are tiny little escape artists. They don't need 50 years of life and force powers either. Heaven help Mando if the Child can pull its own diaper off.

D&D 5E (2014) The Larger Failure of "Tyranny of Dragons"

Anyway I'd be very curious to know your opinion of Memento if you ever see it.

D&D 5E (2014) The Larger Failure of "Tyranny of Dragons"

Fair enough. Agreed. Shows these days are lot more willing to throw the dice.

    D&D 5E (2014) Mythological Figures: Imhotep

How does one put "like...everything!" or "buried wearing his cape" into a monster statblock?

D&D 5E (2014) The Larger Failure of "Tyranny of Dragons"

low sci fi is the primary difference, but also the lack of an invulnerable hero is another. In Nolan's trilogy being a hero hurts and not just physically. Of the 3 I quoted it is admittedly the most predictable. And while most Hollywood films are indeed formulaic there are still some good...

D&D 5E (2014) The Larger Failure of "Tyranny of Dragons"

Nolan's dark knight trilogy is far more 'crimefighter' than 'superhero' but if you prefer other genres could you predict the end of The Prestige, Interstellar, or Memento?

WotC Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance Video Game Announcement Trailer

It's a bad looking trailer. I'll also point out I was expecting Wulfgar's long luxurious golden locks, not the same braid every character has in the History Channel's Vikings. Where is this guy?

    Order your Star Wars films

There are things I disliked about TlJ, but on the whole I'm with you on this one, and having just seen Knives Out it further cements my opinion that Johnson is one of the most clever directors out there. I was just reading an article about The Phantom Menace being the movie Lucas made with...

Can you drink potions under water?

This is without a doubt the single greatest thread necro I have ever seen. I bow to the sheer necrotic power it took to pull this off.

    D&D 5E (2014) Critiquing the System

Late level combats are a slog. Yep this one is pet peeve of mine too, but fixing it either makes all Martial's more MAD than casters, requires further tweaking of casters, or results in collapsing of sacred cow stats into fewer stats 🤷‍♂️
