Seems I was mislead about Lies of Locke. Guess I’ll check it out. I wonder if the audiobook is any good?

Since this thread has jumped all over the place, I want to do a throw back and point out that Tiefling is a silly, kinda dumb name too.

I was always told that Lies of Locke is more videogame esque than classic fantasy. Is that not true? I mean, I read in an interview that he named the main character after a Final Fantasy 6 thief.

Yea and people who bought bg3 are old. Check the average age of a Steam user. This will change NOTHING on WotCs part. Nothing. Because they don’t care.

I’m not going to read all the nearly 1200 comments, have we decided that 4e was good or have we decided it was bad? Or have we just insulted each other for nigh a thousand comments for holding different opinions?

Entering this thread to point out that in DnD, Alignment systems are actually good and not bad.

This is a good take, I thought similar thoughts after watching Arena again. The only odd bit, as you point out, is the crew not reacting to the name Gorn. Everything else can easily be squatted away.

One collection I’ve really enjoy recently is Tanith Lee’s Cyrion. Published in 1982, I can’t find a decent quality paperback anywhere, but it is out there for e-readers.

I can’t believe how silly this conversation has been allowed to get about BG3 by people who haven’t even played the game.

It isn’t the game that has an identity process, it’s the fans who can’t accept brand diversity and grasp that different approaches in products are for different groupings of people. There’s something pearl clutchy and gate keepy about some of these comments lol
