Your first Advanced Unpopular Opinion hit me right in the gut, well done :) you’re wrong, of course, but well done, regardless.

I think some folks didn’t get the memo that this is “unpopular takes”, not “bad takes”, nor an excuse to be plain old nasty.

This is a next to impossible conversation to have, because some folks always get real worked up about an objectively subjective opinion. But obviously the correct answer here is Star Trek and The Lord of the Rings.

Lol, fair question! But to answer it seriously, I could see a company like Amazon moving into this space, both to tie up the rights to IPs for Prime shows, video game licenses, twitch stuff, etc etc etc. It isn’t as far fetched as people might think it is.

A sale of WoTC on its own could generate $13 billion. That’s why they are being urged to sell. That’s a lot of money.
