    She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer

I don't need the dark, violent stuff. I have read all of DD's comic runs; I know he isn't always dark and gritty.

    She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer

Hmmm. If that's the case, I guess I am just not finding it funny. I like the character, I just wish more happened.

    She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer

I am just not sure what I am supposed to be getting out of the show; is it laughs? Is there a plot in here somewhere? I dunno. I know I keep tuning in hoping this will be when I see Daredevil...and then being sad.

    D&D 5E (2024) 5e spell saves versus 4e spell attacks

Personally, I have no doubt that having more ability scores for PCs would make the game better (I was convinced after playing the Divinity: Original Sin series). I also have no doubt that D&DOne will not be switching out from the classic 6 ability scores, because even if it made for a better...

D&D General What's the DC for a fighter to heal their ally with a prayer?

I guess the fact that it's 5e and not 4e is what makes the difference...?

I don't think so. I think Love and Thunder backs up your point quite well.

    She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer

Ok, so @Tonguez beat me to my first point, but I guess my second point is that all three had writing issues along the lines of "This could all be avoided if one person did one rational thing." Strange not messing with everyone's memory because of a failed college application, for example. A...

D&D General Poll: Do DMs/GMs need to trust their players?

Same. I deleted a previous reply because I thought it wasn't what the thread was about.

D&D General What's the DC for a fighter to heal their ally with a prayer?

I did actually suggest the GM could say the good god of healing just heals the person at no cost because they're the good god of healing, and just leave it up to the player's subsequent roleplaying and overall character narrative to make a good story from it.

D&D 5E (2024) Can we have the sorcerer fixed now? (Plz, I beg you n_n°)

I'd like to see something really different for sorcerers to make them stand out. Imagine if sorcery points were rolled into spell points, but then gave sorcerers way more options on how to use the points, to really give them that "font of magic" or "raw, untamed power" or "member of the X-Men"...

    D&D 5E (2024) Postmortem: 10 Ideas in 5e that didn't quite work...

It's a real problem. I have been in 3 different 5e campaigns with a ranger and the nicest thing I heard about the class from the players is "Eh, it's kinda disappointing. Oh, well."

D&D 5E (2014) How do you define “mother may I” in relation to D&D 5E?

Well...you could choose not to take offense and simply answer? They're good questions, and and answering would keep things going constructively! :)

D&D 5E (2014) How do you define “mother may I” in relation to D&D 5E?

I would think that if it can be given, it's not agency.

D&D General What's the DC for a fighter to heal their ally with a prayer?

I tend to agree. It's a very metagame situation to involve "resource balance" answers, and as such, it tends to deflate what could be a good, dramatic narrative. That's why I wondered earlier if we as GMs could trust our players enough to carry the "consequences" of getting that favour...

D&D General What's the DC for a fighter to heal their ally with a prayer?

I like this answer. It makes sense to me. Just for argument's sake though... Is this not an opportunity for the revived player (and the one who prayed!) for an extraordinary character turn, a massive development in the narrative of their story? Like, if we have the idea that this is cheating...

D&D General What's the DC for a fighter to heal their ally with a prayer?

This is a perfectly good way to handle this, and my instinct is I'd probably go with something like it. But the best part of this thread for me is how it's making me question my instincts. So, here's a question for everyone participating: Is it possible, in the game you run, that the god of...

D&D General What's the DC for a fighter to heal their ally with a prayer?

Wait, in your world there are no laypeople of great faith that pray to the god of healing?
