    Dual-GMing

I played in a dual gm game once. It was pretty fun. The two GMs got together and made up index cards describing each of the NPCs (this was more of a social challenge than combat challenge based game - winter court for L5R). Then they divvied up which NPCs they would control. I'm pretty sure...

Do castles make sense in a world of dragons & spells?

Well actually, due to the way diagonals work... a cube is actually a sphere.

Do castles make sense in a world of dragons & spells?

DiCaprio's a good actor at least :P This has been my experience in Dwarf Fortress (in which the primary enemies are goblins). A lot of times, they come in sneaking - invisible for all purposes. I solve this by chaining dogs up at the entrance. Another solution is to trap the hell out of all...

Look upon my works, ye mighty... (my players stay out, please)

IIRC this is Neuschwanstein. The creator was King Ludwig II of Bavaria... sometimes referred to as the Mad King or the Swan King. I'd do a bit of reading about him to get some ideas.

Do castles make sense in a world of dragons & spells?

I like your style, kid. Flavor text suggests otherwise though. If eladrin are taking a quick step through the feywild, I'd expect that a falling eladrin continues to fall through the feywild - which means they just end up teleporting 30 ft down.

Team of Familiar Level 30 Characters

Could be fun to start it over with a no-religious and no-contemporary figures rule. Figures from Norse mythology are probably ok despite there being real-world practitioners.

    May Daggermaster Nerf Rumour

I might be ok with melee OR weapon attacks. Sorcerers using blade channeling with daggermaster might be interesting and not *so* overpowered.

    Come and (Don't) Get It?

You misunderstand. The fighter actually uses his martial prowess to warp space such that all squares within 15 ft are superimposed upon each other. No movement takes place. It's all physics.

    Ancient Forebear's Rage = Wow?

I don't expect infinite damage to ever become a problem, but I suppose it's an interesting thing to consider.

    Ancient Forebear's Rage = Wow?

I'm sorry, but wut? GoD don't increase brutal if a weapon already has it. The only thing that I can think of that ever did was the battle engineer 11th level perk, and errata has made that not stack either, specifically to avoid this issue.

    Ancient Forebear's Rage = Wow?

    I can help with the math here. Normal vorpal is (2.5) + .25(2.5) + .25^2(2.5) etc. So it's Sum(i=0..inf) 2.5/(4^i) Which converges to 3 1/3 = 3.333... AFR Vorpal D4 is (4+4+3+4)/4 = 3.75, plus rerolls. So it's (3.75) + .75(3.75) + .75^2(3.75) etc. And in an infinite summation: Sum(i=0..inf)...

Fortunately, Swordmages are one of the classes that can do really well without the intended secondary stat. Shielding swordmages miss out, but the others are fine.

Official Rules Updates (March 02, 2010)

Still reading through, but this is just dumb: Umbiri Swordmage PP Power. Assassin Shadow Page 67: On the Hit line, replace Strength with Intelligence. This revision syncs up the ability score modifier of the power’s damage They left the attack as Strength vs. AC. I don't understand why they...

Vote for your favorite Paragon Path - Part 9: Swordmage

I don't get this either. Swordmages are the base way of doing any kind of warrior-mage. I don't think that's a trope exclusive to Faerun. As for swordmage paths... my favorites are actually Feytouched and Academy Master, but from this list I think I may go with the anarch.
