Some PC designs bouncing in my head...

I was under the impression you'd only add static mods when you *hit* with a power. Hellish rebuke extra damage is specifically an effect that occurs without the need for another hit. I wouldn't give it any bonuses from item enhancement bonuses for example. If I'm not mistaken, hybrid warlocks...

    Hybrid Battlemind/Swordmage?

There is no general rule. There are specific rules such as warlock curse damage only applies to warlock powers, or fighters can only mark with fighter powers. A fighter|paladin hybrid could, however, use his combat challenge on a foe marked by his divine challenge. If you don't see a *specific*...

    Hybrid Warlock/Swordmage

This is *probably* doable. But why would you? Instead of 20, 14, 11, 10, 10, 8... 19, 16, 11, 10, 10, 8 - your primary attacks will be as good for half your character's existence, you gain an AC, and your swordmage attacks are now viable. 20s are overrated.

Swordmage: Help grasping the concept, please

Throwing my hat in for the Sorcarian! (Barberor?) over the other non-swordmage options. I realize that barbarians are primal, not martial... but their attacks are exclusively weapon based and their primal effects can be reflavored as arcane. Hybrid paladin mark is extremely weak, and this hybrid...

Class Acts: Warlocks -- Crimson Knights of Bael Turath

It's exceedingly good for my favorite as well... the warlock|swordmage hybrid.

Human vs. Dwarf RM:UT FINAL SHOWDOWN

Dorfs. I know this is a D&D poll, but at this point I've associated them with dwarf fortress. Some of the stories I read about what people do in that game... There's the normal stuff like making traps which flood a chamber with magma, so you don't have to go to the hassle of disposing of...

Did Gygax owe a bit of thanks to WotC?

I hope this isn't too much of a threadcrap... The guy is dead. I'm sure, like many RPG geeks, he had very strong opinions and wasn't too good at knowing when to keep them to himself. That doesn't matter. He was instrumental in creating this hobby, even if he hasn't carried it to where it is...

    Why must numbers go up?

I'd be happy with an increase in breadth of actions rather than the damage they do. Consider 4e powers. The higher level ones typically don't *just* do more damage. They'll have extra effects like pushing or creating zones or giving the target vulnerability. If over the course of 30 levels...

Dwarf vs Elf (wood)! RM:UT Semifinal!

You did see Avatar, didn't you?

Visualizations of Justice, Truth and Revenge.

I'd depict Lybra as a blind woman holding a sword in one hand, and a heart in the other. For a standard, maybe a scale with an upright sword on one side, and a heart on the other. I'd probably make the scale incorporate some kind of "eye" motif.

Let's talk about which 4th edition element comes from where

Fallout came out in 1997, and had perks every 3 levels which were essentially feats. D&D 3.0 Came out in 2000.

Looking for picture of silver half-dragon centaur

Googled dracotaur, and found an image on deviantart. Dracotaur by ~Clearyellowrain on deviantART Looks like elfwood may have some relevant materials too.

Shouldn't Kaz the Betrayer have more actions?

I am so glad someone else said this. Down with GUIs!

Human vs. Gnome RM:UT Round 3

Humans just haven't gone up against anything worthy of the challenge yet (eladrin/dwarves)

    Succubus courtesan

It's probably not a good sign that I find this appealing. Anyways... I'll bite. An Illithid courtesan might crave a taste of exceptional minds - serial killers, inventors, philosophers. Or maybe sampling both heads of an ettin at once. I'm not sure what an Illithid would have to offer to any...

    Succubus courtesan

Murder or otherwise betray a friend 7 years of service from the client's firstborn The complete loss of a single emotion In general, I think this courtesan would thrive on inspiring people to create misery for themselves.

    Succubus courtesan

I think she'd ask for something a little more exotic - The lifeforce of a client's servant Cherished memories Years of the client's lifespan The captured essence of rare good-aligned creatures Serious evidence against powerful individuals.

Eladrin (H. Elf) vs Tiefling RM:UT Round 2

I like Eladrin as Sidhe, and Tieflings as they were in 3e. Voting eladrin though, as they are the most mechanically interesting to me. (<3 teleporting)
