Thanks. :) I'd never considered using it with Star Munchkin, but I think you could make it work. The most important thing about the system is that it works best with a group of four or more. Fewer than that and a lot of the rules involving the cards (and the initiative) don't work as well.

I'm trying to get a feel for what others consider to be "news." Is a new product release news? Announcement of a new game line or edition? Hiring/firing of employees? What do you think is news?

I'm just confused. I had thought that Ronin Arts leaving RPGNow would be news. I mean, with approximately 5% of the PDFs at the site, and ranked #2 for all-time sales, Ronin Arts has been an important part of the PDF industry. I doubt few would argue this point. Any top 20 company leaving...

I don't think it's appropriate to go into my reasons in public. I will say, though, that despite assumptions from many the rate change had very little to do with this decision. Deeper problems drove this decision (and I suspect those same problems have led others to leave).

Bruce Baugh was describing an idea to me for treating dungeons as characters; with classes and levels and feats. It was pretty awesome.
