Ronin Arts: Top 20 of 2006

I may write a third "101 Feats." If I do, a collection is a possibility. (To be honest, I've started a print collection for the first two but I'm holding off on it until I make a decision as to whether or not I'll write a third collection of feats). Issues 1-5 of Superline have been released in...

You're too good. :) One of these days I'll write "A Dozen Big-Ass Swords." That will be crappy.

Interesting statement from a WizO on the D&D forum:

Six months before release is minimum, because of the book trade. There are a few ways to look at this six month requirement: 1. February is the great D&D Experience. Month 2 + 6 = Month 8. Month 8 is August. Or GenCon, if you will. 2. August is GenCon. If the D&D Experience will always be in...

Ronin Arts: Top 20 of 2006

Art is very important for Superlink releases. And yeah, I thought it very telling that 50% of the top 20 were Superlink. 25% of the top 20 are starships. Unlike earlier years, 101 Mundane Treasures didn't make it into the top 20.

Ronin Arts: Top 20 of 2006

    I've included the release dates for each of our 2006 Top 20 PDFs. #1. Superline #4: Hell's Belles (2005) #2. Ken Hite's Dubious Shards (Cthulhu/Delta Green) (2006) #3. Superline #5: Dinosaurs! (2006) #4. Superline Gamemaster's Series: A Fistful of Plot Devices, #1 (2004, updated in 2006) #5...

Ronin Arts: Wounds, Bruises, and Blood

D20 Modern/Future -- no big problem. I'm toying with a Modern/Future-specific version but it's really not all that big a deal for anyone to take the text as it stands and tweak it to handle firearms. True20, I'm not so sure. I think the basic ideas could be rewritten to work with True20 but...

Ronin Arts: Wounds, Bruises, and Blood

I wonder why I thought it was more complicated then that. The system you describe sounds like it would work pretty well with this PDF.

Ronin Arts: Wounds, Bruises, and Blood

Sorry, not a question I'm really qualified to answer. From memory I would say that they could likely be melded together but it would take some work. This is definitely not as complicated as Torn Asunder.

How has that Player's Kit not been knocked out? I suspect it's because many people never bought it.

Ronin Arts: Wounds, Bruises, and Blood

http://enworld.rpgnow.com/products/product_20754.jpg Sure it's an easy matter to keep track of hit points. Sword stabs for 3 points of damage and character's hit point total is reduced by 3. Sword stabs again for 5 points of damage and hit point total is reduced by 5. And on and on until the...
