Back in the early days of 3rd I had bought Traps and Treacheries from Fantasy Flight Games. It served its purpose and I think it would be great for you too.

I know that most of the ppl remind them the 4th e. fighter but when I read the article i thought "we have a bit of Tome of Battle" in 5th e. In general i like it although i dislike as hell 4th e. :P

Also they tied Tyranny of Dragons to Forgotten Realms which is a let down for me. I would prefer a neutral approach to their first adventure path, a more enclosing approach to the various gamestyles and tastes than a focused one. Probably I wouldn't mind if we hadn't all this Forgotten Realms...

With all the respect to the Realms, Greenwood, the fans, etc... please, not another Realms product. It seems that there is nothing except Realms in their mind regarding 5e. I respect Realms but never inspired me and never been the thing that I wanted to play.

Absolutely yes. There are low fantasy campaigns (ex games of thrones style) that a differentiation of this type would add depth to the characters. I can see however that this would not be in ph, but i would really welcome it as a guide in a section of "how to create human variants" in the dmg.

Pleasantly suprised I have to say after a long time I have to admit. It is more convincing the way they introduce the bard than it was in the 2-4th editions. I can see myself playing this kind of bard. I am wondering about the subclasses. A would love to see the skald!

Original 3rd edition PH had $20 not $35.

$50 for a PH is a terrible high price for my taste and wallet making me really angry as a customer. However, if the price include DMG (like Pathfinder), something i don't find very likely, then of course my view will change.
