How? How do the rules fight cinematic play? Our group is mostly martial and I feel our characters perform cinematic actions on the regular. I can’t think of a rule that prevents us from doing that.

Me thinks it is you who is blind. In the example given the mountain and Hercules are essentially the same class if you will. But of much different power levels. One is clearly a mundane martial and the other is supernatural martial. They cannot balance each other by offering different skills...

No - I don’t care. I know the answer and don’t need to convince people of the truth. However, I am curious about why you don’t think they own outright: ravenloft, darksun, spelljammer, planescape, and the nentir vale. Those settings were created and only ever owned by TSR/WotC

IIRC, the Guild is a partnership between One and WotC. Though One runs it, but that is splitting hairs really. However, very few people make serious money on the Guild. There are handful of people that have made good money and only one that I can think of that continues to do so. Even Ed...

Just specific that you meant for creating and selling content, not for buying it. You can already buy content from all editions on the Guild.

Anything that TSR owned when WotC bought them (which is the vast majority), anything that WotC added (Eberron & Nentir Vale), and all MtG settings. Though if the premise these are different companies now, that last one could be in limbo.

I misunderstood your intent, you might want to clarify in your post. You can definitely buy all previous editions there from WOTC

To be clear the only edition missing now is 5e, so I don’t think this idea will kill OSR.
