They could have simply removed the ability mods from the 2014 table in the DMG and pasted into the NPC/Humanoids section and that would be pretty good

Something is wrong with that chart. The highest possible attack bonus is +19 (unless that have changed things).

I assumed he means smoothed the out so the increase evenly across the CR range. That would be the general understanding of his comment IMO.

They questions was which monster lore you like best. So what is your favorite beholder lore? I found the Volo’s lore pretty interesting I don’t even know what the was before that.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe there is a cost requirement for A bastion. I haven’t looked at the official rules in detail, but there was definitely a cost in the play test rules.

Interesting, I’ve never heard that low CR monsters needed to hit harder. Do you think that is a good adjustment by ToV? Seems counterintuitive to me.

our sessions are typically 4 hours so I had to a bit of math. Adjust for hours of play and not sessions we were 6th level at 168 hrs of game time.
