A bit off-topic, since you said you didn't want software, but I have to throw out a recommendation for Weathermaster anyways. It's simply the best rpg tool I've ever found to generate weather.

Actually, that's not true. Players do normal amounts of damage relative to monsters - but summonables do more damage relative to players since they are monsters themselves. So, they can be fairly comparible at uber-levels IMHO. And all in all when you get to this point there is so much...

Hmm... (130,000 points of damage / 4) = 32,500 points of damage per use. Seems powerful enough to me.

(I'd just have Cloud Summon Knights of the Round and be done with this...) :) I'd have to agree with RisnDevil - you aren't going to find a tremendous amount of support on EnWorld for uber-level play. Dicefreaks would probably more helpful in critiquing your creation.

Nightfall, if it makes you feel any better my main campaign is still currently set in Scarn - but we usually take the summer off and do shorter games and Conan is still the current favorite... :)

Massive Damage threshold is 20 points, DC is 10+ 1/2 the damage dealt! So, a 1st level fighter with 10 Str crits with a Bill for 2d8 x3 and opts to spend a Fate point for a Mighty Blow (automatic max damage). That 1st level fighter just dealt out 48 points of damage, causing a Fort save DC 34...

Because D&D Core doesn't really allow for the flavor of Howard's world perhaps? I'd be interested in seeing how a few house rules make magic work correctly, or captures the feel of being able to punch a veteran soldier, breaking his neck and killing him in the process... :)

Conan is great - Mongoose has done a great job in fleshing out the details for Hyboria that were never supplied by Howard. As previously mentioned, the emphasis is on character skills and abilities as opposed to equipment, and the gritty nature of the game makes for a game where even high level...
