    D&D 5E (2014) Is there a Motaur d&d 5e player class?

Update Modern d20 rules, make it a cyborg. A motorcycle is not nearly as large as a horse, it does not manoeuvre the same way, cannot do kick attacks, and is just plain different. Don't be lazy.

    D&D 5E (2014) Archetypes to add to 5e

You can say that about any archetype, it is a matter of degree, the level of dedicated specialization involved.

    D&D 5E (2014) Archetypes to add to 5e

But bards are artists, entertainers, and loremasters, not necessarily interested in stealing. There is definitely overlap, but there should be a roguish version.

    D&D 5E (2014) Archetypes to add to 5e

Rogues are cool, but where are the matchstick men, the con artists, that use deceit and manipulation to get what they want? We need some larcenous experts on social skills who get people to part with their wealth under false pretenses.

D&D 5E (2014) Awakened Animals as Player Characters

Why not? If it goes on adventures instead of just hanging out in the woods, yes.

    Legion, Season 3

This show was a mindblower, like atomic level mindblower. Every episode it felt like pieces of the gears in my mind were snapping off and falling into my brain. I do not remember one episode that did not make me think I was lucid dreaming for a bit.

D&D General A Dungeon That IS A Dragon?

Reminds me of the worm in the asteroid that the Millenium Falcon almost got digested by before Han realized what it was. It had a huge cave inside its belly, an even larger version could well have a dungeon. Another route you could take is to render the adventurers tiny, so they enter a...

D&D 5E (2014) Are you using 3d6 apply as rolled and if so can you share your experience?

Using an easier rolling system is tantamount to cheating. If your scores are low, learn to play better, don't hesitate to run and hide until you increase in power. Trust the dice and make the most of whatever numbers you get.

    D&D General Kara-Tur vs Rokugan

Forgotten Realms definitely needs and Indian/South Asian campaign setting to fill the gap between Kara-tur and Al-Qadim. Throw in Rokugan, why not? Let's have a setting both as diverse and as rich as possible.

    Let Your Geek Flag Fly?

But we need something inclusive, not exclusive. Something all nerds and geeks can get behind.

    T-Rex Tiny Hands Theory

Just a passing thought, but maybe the reason tyrannosaurus rex did not need more powerful paws was because it breathed fire...

    D&D 5E (2014) Roman Campaign needs

Bone up on that Latin... 1. Barba tenus sapientes ("Wise as far as his beard"): someone that looks intelligent but actually isn't 2. Corvus oculum corvi non eruit ("A crow will not pull out the eye of another crow"): solidarity in the face of criticism 3. Auribus teneo lupum ("Holding a wolf by...

    D&D 5E (2014) Roman Campaign needs

All of the 2E Historical Reference guides were excellent, they are full of material you can adapt. Don't forget that you can always play against the Romans with characters from all over Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.

    D&D 5E (2014) Mythological Figures: Queen Penthesilea (5E)

Lucky is a reasonable choice, but not very flavourful. There should be something that says "Aries was here" in her background.

    D&D 5E (2014) Mythological Figures: Queen Penthesilea (5E)

I do not see anything in the stats reflecting her status as a daughter of Ares. She is technically a demigod. There should be some sort of bloodline feat for that...

    D&D General Basic Steampunk Items

I am working on a campaign in which one city-state, ruled mostly by dwarves, has to use steam power because casting spells takes to long due to an anti-magical ore in the mountain they live inside of, giving them the impetus to develop some technology. So, more fantasy than your pure steampunk...

So we need to collect those into broader categories, like Makers and Collectors, maybe?

    D&D General Basic Steampunk Items

Exactly, weapons, basic steampowered tools, simple transportation devices, stuff level 1-3 characters would have access to or be able to buy.

D&D General Looking for a City Adventure built on a cliff or deep pit?

Isn't part of the Halfling city in the 2E Dark Sun book Jagged Cliffs just rooms dug into a cliff? That was a long time ago...

    D&D General Basic Steampunk Items
