Level Up (A5E) A List of Planes in Planestrider's Journal

These feel less like Astral planes and more like alternative Material planes, like Eberron, Krynn, etc. Odd that they include the Elemental Planes yet not the Positive/Negative planes, nor any of the quasi or para-Elemental ones. So far none of these third party supplements to 5E have...

D&D Movie/TV Check Out These Previews Of Hasbro's New D&D 'FAST' Channel

Surely, they could have made a better replacement for "pussycat" than Purple Worm. Displacer Beast maybe? They are cats too... :P

D&D General Dungeons & Dragons Sneak Peek at Gameholecon: 50th Anniversary Adventure, Rod of Seven Parts, The Endless Stair, Tsojcanth, Barrier Peaks?

Surely this guy could not have been the only one at this presentation who took photos. I hope one surfaces eventually...

D&D General Dungeons & Dragons Sneak Peek at Gameholecon: 50th Anniversary Adventure, Rod of Seven Parts, The Endless Stair, Tsojcanth, Barrier Peaks?

I guess this guy doing the interview is an old timer, none of these images rang any bells for me. Except the one not shown, the Wolf-in-Sheep's-Clothing. I do hope we get that creature in the Monster Manual so we can finally get a mini of the silly thing! :) The dead/magically asleep knight...

    D&D 5E (2014) Take A Peek At Fortune's Wheel Table of Contents

Dat foxy face. I love this art of Shemeshka. Perfect schemer look. :) Really curious about the chapters where... you can go inside the Spire??? That has never been done, as far as I know of. And I wonder what Modrons have to do with the multiversal glitch, or what the Platinum Rooms are. They...

    D&D 5E (2014) Check Out Planescape's Table of Contents & More!

Oh, nice, I forgot it releases so soon digitally. The printed copies are only coming in the middle of the month, no? LOL that is probably true... The Seven are mentioned in what we can see in the text, so we will see. I think there are only one type of Incarnate now, no Major or Minor.

    D&D 5E (2014) Check Out Planescape's Table of Contents & More!

I read it, but it would be more accurate to call it "interesting demiplanes for adventures" - most of the locales it lists are not big and could be inserted into any adventure easily, even without the need for them to be extraplanar. This new Planescape book seems to embrace the alignment system...

Preview of the Planar Incarnate on D&DBeyond. https://www.dndbeyond.com/posts/1587-punch-a-plane-in-the-face-preview-the-planar Yeah I think so too. I noticed that the Septon has 3 tentacles on one side, and 4 on the other - so they kept that part. Even the Hexton still has his gear-collar...

    D&D 5E (2014) Check Out Planescape's Table of Contents & More!

Exactly. And I am curious about the Gate-Towns too. And what named characters from the older books return? I mean we have seen fell and Shemeshka, and some Factols. I hope the book has details about A'kin too and many others, like Estavan, Rule-of-Three, Autochon the Bellringer, Kylie...

    D&D 5E (2014) Check Out Planescape's Table of Contents & More!

Rilmani look VERY different, but I always felt the original designs were just... DiTerlizzi drawing regular Humans with pointy noses in armor. I actually thought the Aurumach would be the Parai due to the floating head, now I am kinda glad she isn't - hope we get the Parai in a later book. I...

    D&D 5E (2014) Check Out Planescape's Table of Contents & More!

I guess you use a Lich for an avatar because you are THAT old? ;) I am excited that 5E did what both 3E and 4E did not do, bring back Planescape. I mean maybe you are as old as to be incapable of liking anything new? I am no spring chicken either but I can still like new things if they tickle...

    D&D 5E (2014) Check Out Planescape's Table of Contents & More!

I have waited like, ages, to finally see Guardinals again. This is so great! Love the art. Interesting how the Githzerai Futurist looks more like the Anarch than the art for the Anarch in Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes ever did. Futurama got the Rilmani in a nutshell so perfectly! :) No wonder...

    D&D 5E (2014) Check Out Planescape's Table of Contents & More!

Maaan they even added a rebus, same as in the 2E book, about the Dabus. That is classy. So I wonder if Cranium Rat Squeakers differ from the regular ones by how they can mimic human forms under a cloak? Like the Rat King in The Amazing Maurice...

    D&D 5E (2014) Check Out Planescape's Table of Contents & More!

Love this art. Baernaloth is spot on the old 2E art! Maaan they managed to keep the Larvae super creepy despite the redesign. I like the planar influenced creature ideas. The Archons all look great. The Lantern Archon being a sculpture head in pieces is a great visual. Age of Wonders 4 has a...

Crikey! He comes from down under! (aka Faerun in this case). :p Love that we got so many classic creatures, Guardinals, Archons have not been seen since 3E, and I am not sure if Rilmani ever got a 3E entry at all. And I am sure we will get more in future releases. They were hinting at now that...

Planescape Planescape Pre-order Page Shows Off The Books!

It's a Modron train that lays its own tracks, and runs between planes, I am fine with that. New idea to D&D for sure, but it somehow works.

Planescape Planescape Pre-order Page Shows Off The Books!

Maybe let's post all info in one topic instead of like, 20... The Gate-Towns of the Outlands: The Factions: I love how these guys clearly know 2E Planescape in and out, mentioning how in the original books, the Gate-Towns barely got a page or two, some getting a bit more fleshed out in...
