why have a PrC at all? Why not just have a MC rogue sorc. The hisgh Cha will help in social skills and the rogue skill poinmts will help with ranks. If nopt, you can always talk to your DM and mae one up to your liking. But k,now that these are usually underpowered compared to standard PrCs...

I would go cleric. Two good saves (plus high wis helps in will saves), and a butload of spells- especially antimagic field, see inv, and some powerful domains. Toss in a couple of templates to get immunities and even more powers...

I understand this, but who ever has the perfect spell prepared at any given moment. A clr10 only has 6/3/2/1 spells per day. The lower ones are almost useless at that level. And so he really only 3 spells +D a day to cast effectively. How is he able to gauge which enemy he will encounter that...

No- and they aren't supposed to be weaker either. They are supposed to be balanced- but specialized for flavor. Edit they are supposed to be better at what they do, but also able to do less...
