Revenge of the Giants... August 2009... I have been waiting for this. Having run a "Against the Giants"-based campaign till last december... but I sure was hoping for it to be out half a year earlier! By that time, my group will most likely have finished the paragon tier... damn.

I prefere regions that are real world "rip offs" with the fantasy level tuned up to 11... like the new Calimshan... maybe I never got the Old Empires (never cared for Maztica, Chult was enough for my taste) but their "magic level" allways seemed to low for me... I would have prefered them change...

Well, I reduced all Monster HP by (level+1)*2. (Twice that number for elites, four times that number for solos). This is equivalent to reducing the basic HP for each monster type by 2. (An avg. of 25%). This reduced combat lenght down to 30min each, what was my goal. I did not see a reason to...

I agree. It's not like there is anything standing in your way using the old setting, which IMO was kind of finished at the end of 3e.
