    Choose Your Own D&D Adventure!

R.L. Stein used to make Goosebump books similar to this. In some of the books, the characters would meet untimely demises. I am sure the books are fine for kids, because even Super Mario dies in the video games, and he is E for Everyone!

D&D 5E (2014) Thoughts on the Resilient Feat

Get that Bard handy! Sounds like you could use that d12.

    Super beefy Bard!

Does he sing songs from Rainbow, Elf, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell, and Dio?

    Super beefy Bard!

Make a Bard. Pick Hill Dwarf and max out Con. Take the Tough feat. You get +8 HP a level, plus the 1d8 or 5 average a level. Sing your heart out, little meat chunk! You don't need to be Charismatic for people to love you!

D&D 5E (2014) Thoughts on the Resilient Feat

Excellent! Design working as intended! Edit below: Not to detract from my original comment, but I just thought about it. Basic math would mean basic rules, no feats, no magic items as influence. A magic caster with a 20 in a stat and a 6 proficiency would have a DC of 19. 8 + 6 + 5 = 19 A...

    MORTAL KOMBAT D&D 5E

This brings back memories of the Mortal Kombat Pen & Paper game I made a while back. So far back in fact, the Midway forums were still around.

Somebody should make a character whose goal is to find all the stat increasing items! And some DM should let them!

The set uses the same attunement slot, eh? Well tickle me pink and call me dolly! I'll take 5! YEE HAW!

Somebody should make a character whose goal is to find all the stat increasing items! And some DM should let them!

Somebody should make a character whose quest is to find the fabled stat increasing items. Such as Belts of Strength, Headbands of Intellect, etc... All items should put the stat at 19. What type of character would have this goal? A Bard? A Wizard? I think the quest of find the items needs...

    D&D 5E (2014) Making a Kobold Barbarian!

I remember my first mini-barbarian. He was a halfling barbarian with 19 strength who broke himself out of prison. He used to grunt, growl, and foam at the mouth a lot. This is also 2nd edition D&D and I ignored race rules for this character concept. If I recall correctly he wielded a Warhammer.

Is there a monster/foe which eats magic items or spells?

What about a dragon with rust breath? The breath weapon turns metal weapons and armor to rust and crumble right in the player's hands. How horrifying would that be? Metal magical circlet on your head? Gone to rust breath!

Let's talk about your homebrew world!

Would "Les Contrées sauvages" actually translate to, "The Wild Countries," or "The Wild Lands?" A Progenitor is like a relation of something, correct? Like something that came before? Kind of like a Wolf might of been a Progenitor of a Dog? It reminds me of the Anunnaki creating humans...

Let's talk about your homebrew world!

oreofox - I too use half-orcs to represent orcs in my world. And your story of the Dwarves who can't grow beards reminds me of a group of Dwarves I made for my homebrew modeled after Buddhists, kind of. Every time the Dwarf sins, it shaves it's beard. So Dwarves with stubble sinned maybe...

The Ruffian: an Idea for a Strength-build Rogue Archetype

I play a Strength based Assassin, so this would of been a decent alternative. Though, I liked the Assassinate feature of the Assassin. Either way, I like it.

What races are left for D&D to do?

No, but my game does  Seriously, I added Munchkins as a race way back in I think 2005 or so. And then I fleshed them out a bit on a website I created in 2011. You can check out their concept here! https://sites.google.com/site/labandlich/the-par/races/munchkin

Let's talk about your homebrew world!

For those of you who DM, and for those of you DMs who have a homebrew world, do you care to talk about it? If so, what classes are allowed in your homebrew? Any new classes that you use instead of a reskin of an old class? What races do you allow in your homebrew? Any new races that you use...

What races are left for D&D to do?

What is the GMGTR? And to answer your question - but I am not sure if these are races already: 1) Rat people 2) Four-armed people, kind of like Goro, Kintaro, Shiva from Mortal Kombat 3) Dog people 4) Aliens, such as Grays

    Man in a Construct

In the game I was running, certain magic items needed more attunement slots to be able to use its power. Some items you could put a certain amount of attunement slots into to gain more power. Players in this game didn't mind items that used 2-3 attunement slots, especially if the item had...

    Man in a Construct

The suit could have a function similar to a gas mask, which allows people to breathe in hostile environments. In fact, make the user immune to Poison & Disease as well.

    Man in a Construct

I once had a "power suit" that I gave a player character. It worked similar to Ironman's armor, or a Hulk Buster suit. The only thing the character had to do was Attune to it using all 3 Attunement slots. It was pretty powerful. He could fly, had Resistance to various damage types, could...
