Another interesting bit, more "+1 damage" feats... Astral Fire feat: +1 feat bonus to damage rolls when you use powers that have the fire or radiant keywords. Raging Storm feat: +1 feat bonus to damage rolls when you use powers that have the lightning or thunder keywords.

It's either a rogue-ish weapon property, class ability or the like that adds 2d6 on a crit, 2d8 on a sneak attack-crit.

Bah. ;) They're too "pretty" now IMO. I'd prefer they were something closer to the original gaunt, fang-toothed originals. And as it was rightly pointed out, I also think they're now too close now to the Githzerai.

Hmm... I wish they had gone with a more exotic style of garb for the Githyanki to really emphasize their alien/planar nature. And further, each new edition seems to want to make them more and more human.

Yeah, I don't see PS having much of a problem moving over to the 4e cosmology so long as they keep the principle themes of Sigil intact.

If Dark Sun is still "down the road" and Dragonlance a "generic" setting by your standards, the only other really popular "out-there" setting is Planescape (or perhaps Ravenloft). As PS is my next most favorite setting I'd be perfectly happy with that too. Ravenloft is quite a bit less popular...

Another little tidbit from the thread I found interesting... Since the Greyhawk books are already being worked on, it sounds like there's a good chance they'll be the next setting in line to get an update! :cool:

It's also nice in that the Wizard has a number of choices in the energy damage he deals so he can tailor the attack to a specific monster vulnerability (if it has one).

Greyhawk, IMO, is a setting that strikes a nice balance between all 3 tiers. They have a whole array of Paragon through Epic Level threats to keep the PCs busy - Iggwilv, Graz'zt, Eclavdra, Acererak, Kerzit, Malcanthet, Iuz, Rary, Baba Yaga, Lolth, Fraz'Urb'Luu, Vecna, Kas, Tuerny the...

Keep in mind as well that PCs are going to encounter him with several other allies who might be geared more towards damage output...

Arnie has always been one of my favorite artists since the 2e days, I'm glad he's still getting work from WotC. Big T looks great - if he's not at least a level 30 solo I will be severely disappointed. :cool:

While 3e was a significant revival from the late 2e era, I've heard many times that D&D's true hey-day was during the Basic Box Set/1e days in the late 80s. I remember reading something about the print runs of D&D not so long ago and the box set was selling something like a million+/year and...
