D&D 5E (2014) What will be the next major preview from Bill Salvesick?

I hope it's a list of powers, like how we got the list of feats for 3.5.

4th Edition and the Immortals Handbook

I can't wait for 4th Ed. It's gonna come out at my local gaming store, I'll buy it and start playing. I'll probably like it because I've liked 90% of what I've read so far. [Others], however, will kick and cry and bitch and libel people who do so. [They] also won't buy the books - though...

    Gold or Silver Standard?

Well, I don't care what 4E does as long as it addresses the issue of average wage. The way it is now, a laborer earns an average of 1sp/day. Comparing that to a recent US survey which stated that the average American laborer earns ~9.50$/hour and that boils down to a silver piece equaling about...

    Challenging Challenge Ratings...again

Hey hey, UK. :) I think maybe you are mistaken... from what I've gathered (with two 'elite' bulettes challenging a 4-person party), the following is closer to home: Elite Monsters = 2 PCs Standard Monsters = 1 PC Minions = 1/2 PC (?)

What Epic Monster types do you most want to see?

I voted for abominations since, realistically, they re the most default and can be used in the most campaigns.

NEW Immortals Handbook - Ascension thread

To hell with individual painted covers, man. You'll be compiling them for the printer and all that time and effort would go to waste. Couple that with the fact that ASCENSION STILL ISN'T DONE and you begin to see the exasperation that painting four covers for one book creates. I don't think...

Holiday Present - The Elf PHB entry

6' tall, 130 pounds?! Anorexia nervosa should also be a 'racial power'. On another note, I'll bet the Eladrin short-range teleport jumps the character up to 5 squares. I also bet that they have +2 Intelligence/+2 Charisma, +2 to Arcane and Knowledge skills, and a lifespan greater...

    Challenging Challenge Ratings...again

    That's been the clear implication as far as I know. 1 PC = 2 minion monsters (?) 1 PC = 1 monster 1 PC = 1/2 elite monster 1 PC = 1/4 solo monster

Tables are still off. Man, it's been a REAL LONG TIME for these kinds of mistakes to still be around.

Maybe 1 feat per relevant ability modifier?

Immortals Handbook - Grimoire (Artifacts, Epic Magic discussion)

    It's tacky, blatantly over-optimized tripe?

    D&D 4E Gunpowder in 4E?

I'd love to see gunpowder mentioned in the core rules, even if it's slotted under an 'alchemy'/'gadget' power source. My only caveat would be that the damage dice be open-ended, to better-reflect the deadly nature of a searing-hot wad of lead launched at sonic speeds.

Do you like the title 'Paragon'?

Given that in 3.x 11th-level was the bottom limit for being susceptible to the 'legend lore' spell, I'd prefer the term be used in favor of 'Paragon'. Heroes become Legends before they find their Epic destiny.
