I know that's true in 3.5, I can't recall seeing that in 3.0, as they made no real distinction about racial HD counting.... mind you, I never really looked it up before...

Going by the 'letter of the rules', 5 levels, because hide is not an invisible stalker skill, and he needs 8 ranks. Going by the spirit of the rules, I'd say none. An invisible stalker has no need of either hide nor disguse ranks due to its 'appearance'. But that's just my humble opinion.

Well, I'll through in my 2 coppers... if you're heavy into illusions or enchantments, my vote is for heighten spell. Allows you to increse DCs on the spells, sometimes dramatically, especially when combined with school specilization.

The extra knowledges are listed mainly because they offer synergy bonuses. I'm sure you could take a broader knowledge (say knowledge(science)), which would allow more access to knowledges (could cover physics, engineering, geography), but doesn't grant the synergy bonuses

"Against disbelievers, they are 20% likely to work" If it's casting someone on itself (such as teleport), it still works. The conjuration doesn't disbelieve itself.

No. Clerics know 'every' spell, as they just prey to their god and he/she grants them. Wizards know as many spells as are in their spellbooks, so if hey have every spell, they know every spell.

Alcohol is a poison. A large enough dose will kill you fairly quickly. Does that mean drinking is evil? Vinegar is a poison, so is formaldehyde. For that matter... antivenom is also a poison, cause enough of that can kill you too. Heck, biologially, oxygen is a poison, we just learned how...
