Planar Heroes; CALLING FERRIX (accepting alternates)

Well, that's 5 of you. Why don't you guys go ahead and make characters? The background doesn't need to be too involved, just a paragraph or so. Built a secret into your character, it doesn't have to be a dark one. Display it openly, if you don't want the others to know about it then note that...

Planar Heroes; CALLING FERRIX (accepting alternates)

What he said. :) And the Lycanthrope is based on the natural lycanthrope vs. the afflicted. Aflicted, thematically, seems more of a curse to me... heroic good creatures from heaven shouldn't be cursed, so no Afflicted Lycanthropes. Note, that with the celestial template, that DR is slightly...

    Honeymarsh Academy (planar D&D)(closed..!)

Cool! Neat, was it some sort of concert (an actual live one vs. a podcast/recorded one)?

    Shouldn't ENWorld be ".com"?

ENWorld.org is a forum/News Site ENPublishing could be a .org as well. ENStore should be a .com, but just because it is doesn't preclude the rest of ENWorld from being a .org

Sevrona Hurlew; Eldest bastard child of Lord Hector Ghoerenne. Inheritance traditions prevent her from inheriting before Georold...

Cool! Maybe I'll have to flesh this out a bit more then.

    Action Points....REVERSED?!

But isn't that the basis of how DnD works right now? At first level PCs have very little control over the outcomes of thier die rolls. Hence, they rely more on luck than skill to carry them through the day. A 20th level PC, in contrast, relies very little on luck and heavily on thier own skils...

Planar Heroes; CALLING FERRIX (accepting alternates)

Hello fellow ENWorlders. I'm fishing for interest in a planar merc-style game with a twist. I don't really have everything plotted out, but I have enough of an idea at the moment to see if anyone would be interested. Allowed Races: Half-Celestials (ECL +4) Hound Archons...

    Honeymarsh Academy (planar D&D)(closed..!)

So are we not going to do the final encounter of this short adventure?

    Scott's Bluff (one-shot DnD 3.5)

OOC: Continue to talk amongst yourselves as you like. For the sake of keeping the game moving I'll continue as if you've verbally accepted. The would-be Lord Georold waits patiently for your response. At your acceptance he visibly relaxes. "Thank the gods. I feared that I would have to hire...

DnD 3.5 One-Shot Adventure (closed, but always accepting alternets)

Of course! :) Who cares if the bad guys get offed by you guys?

So, who's getting a Xbox 360 on launch day?

I'll hold off on purchasing one as there are no 'must-have' games announced for it yet... though Kong does look mighty interesting.

    Scott's Bluff (one-shot DnD 3.5)

EDIT: There is nothing to see here, proceed to the next post, these are not the droids you're looking for.

Mad God's Key - Chapter One

Time to pick up the speed, thinks Nuressa as she sprints through the streets, heading around the warehouse. "Out of the way!" "Watch it!" "Ohh, lookin' good cutie!" "What did you just say to me?" "Oops! Sorry about the fish!" OOC: Nuressa runs (20 ft. x 4) for as long as she it able.

    Scott's Bluff (one-shot DnD 3.5)

Scavatch learns that the mercenary troupe is, realistically, the only real reason non-humans/halflings are in town. Locally, and for those in the know, this is the best place in the entire no-man's land to contract sell-swords, tax-farmers, & hired knives. Other than as mercanaries, the locals...

Mad God's Key - Chapter One

"Thanks bud! Let's get 'im!" Nuressa closes her fist, without paying the merchant and sprints north as fast as her stubby twisted legs can carry her. She ducks under nets laden with cargo, and hops over sacks of goods and tackleboxes, hoping that she'll be able to circle the building before...

DnD 3.5 One-Shot Adventure (closed, but always accepting alternets)

It would depend on the material. Any in particular you're looking for a ruling on?

DnD 3.5 One-Shot Adventure (closed, but always accepting alternets)

Nope, I hadn't seen those, but they're more along the lines of what I was aiming for. A bit too hard for my tastes though. I envision crystaline weapons slotting below metal weapons in terms of practical effectiveness.

    So, how about them Hexblades?

I can't believe that no one has suggested this... the feat Practiced Spellcaster seems like it might be particularly well suited to Hex Blades (and paladins & rangers as well). I have to admit that I've never played one, but on first glace of thier hex ability my reaction was 'that's it?'...

    OOC - Mad God's Key

DMing him would move the game along faster. As would simply removing him/killing him. Only you know how necessary it is to have him along as you control the encounters. :)
