Our group has pretty much stuck to the sale value as well. My only concern is when we might encounter something that one of the members decides to keep. I am not sure how we'll decide the value of something that has not been sold.

I don't know enough about three of those choices to make a truly informed decision. However, of the two remaining, I think I would choose D&D (Basic/Expert) based on the way it pushed out certain classes.

I'm still waiting for the show that gets cancelled during the commercial that appears right after the opening credits. It would be interesting to see a totally new show come back on after the commercial break.

Don't forget to take a look at Weapon Focus: Rays and Practiced Spellcaster. One will help with the lagging BAB and the other with effective caster level.

Didn't you say that the birds are protected? I think that in combination with some stories I've seen of late where the owner has been held accountable for the pet's actions (for instance: dog maulings), I think you have a very clear case to take to either the local authorities or the city...

I do like that thought of an XP pentalty to pay off before reaching your next level. But isn't death supposed to be a penalty anyway? After all, wouldn't the possibility of not being raised be enough to warrant paying a level as a penalty instead of not coming back ever again.

Do you normally send out the file to proofed as a PDF as well? Do you have a process or such that proofers use to return information to you?

If you are looking at an epic level item, consider something that recreates the effect of the hellball (described in the ELH). All that damage could wipe out a huge area very quickly.

Like someone else asked earlier, what are the rules system supporting this game? How would you say this game compares to others like In Nomine and Armaggedon? I have both of those and really enjoyed them.

This kind of reminds me of the way Defilers and Preservers were handled in the Dark Sun CS. Find power from some external source and increase your own.

I've never been to GenCon but I'd been looking at making the 2006 event my first. If there continues to be talk of planning ahead for suites of rooms and such, I'd definitely be interested in learning more. I'd say sign me up now, but as someone else said earlier, it's still nearly a year away...
