I'm not sure why it stopped, but given that Sticknia is posting in another thread asking about simplified rules for adults, I'm hoping you might see a response here. I rather enjoyed the comic when I was actively reading it and must have lost the link to it a hard drive crash a couple of years...

I rather enjoyed that video. Mind you, I never actually read the Complete Book of Elves. I think my favorite part of the response was the comment about roleplaying in a game about roleplaying.

Atomic Robo is an absolutely fun read. I'd be curious how the rules play out. I've seen Brian C. talking about playtests happening via his Twitter feed, but that's been about all I've seen of it. On another topic, was anyone interested in running DungeonWorld at all?

One way to address your players being on this same board is to include a note in the subject line, something along the lines of "My players keep out" or similar. This has worked for others in the past, but it does mean that they have to know your handle on the boards here, of course.

Best of luck to you in pursuit of this job. I haven't visited Ithaca in a couple years but always enjoyed my times there. Since I'm currently revamping my resume as well, I can sympathize with the quandry of how to phrase things in such a document.

The Codex does provide combinations of base and prestige classes up to combined level 20. That might give you some leeway, as well. As for super streamlining, have you taken a look in the core rulebook for the section on building NPCs? That should be very close to what you are seeking since...

While WotC is definitely onto something with the republication of previous editions, apparently they aren't doing too much to support the settings that were used in the previous editions. Have a look at Birthright.net to see what I mean.

For me, it was seeing Durning in the episode of NCIS that will always stick with me the more.

Well, isn't that just a kick in the teeth... I just tried ordering multiple copies of the Player's Guide for my players last week. Still not sure of that order was able to go through at the FLGS so if it didn't, maybe I'll try this sale.

Yep, pretty much. It was released by Eden Studios and there's talk of another edition since the 2nd edition was out many years ago.
