Mostly that. Though admittedly, it seems like there's a subset of people you could label "cool nerds", which do have wider recognition now and whose nerdy hobbies are seen with more benevolence. But I don't get the feeling that the social standing of the "classic nerd" has improved that much.

Ah! I always wondering why there was never any follow-up products to what seemed like a decent setting. But that explains it.

I think these would be the old ones, which were done by Fantasy Flight Games. The new ones are, to my knowledge, Wrath&Glory and Imperium Maledictum - done by Cubicle 7 (though the first one was inherited from Ulisses Spiele).

I'd certainly watch Cavill as Gaunt, but seeing him as Cain would indeed be awesome!
