It can be a bit intimidating diving into the tag syntax, but the best way to learn is to look at other races, and usually copy and play with what you want to change... also take a good look at the documentation... it's constantly evolving, so some things may be out of date, wrong, or not there...

Now worries about PCGen, that's completely seperate, we're only housing some forums for it at this point. PCGen is and always will be free. :) I don't think it will have much of an impact with publishers and how PCGen interacts at all, it is a seperate endeavor. And our products will be PDF...

Just a hint... if you live in the continetal US, find the nearest WotC retail store or Game Keeper store and go check it out... they're getting out of PC software and have cut the price dramatically down... CC2 for 30$ and DD2, CD2 for 20 each... Well worth it. Just a heads up. :)
