    More than 3.75

I agree with this, and really do like it; however, I'd suggest that there should be a mechanic - whether it's incantations or something else - that allows a wizard to cast non-combat utility spells with either a fatigue cost, or with a greatly extended casting time. (or both...) Fly, 20 minute...

    Good 3.x adventure

I'll second the Freeport adventures, expecially the Trilogy (which runds from about level 1-6 or so, my books are at home). Tales from Freeport contains several unconnected interludes, Hell in Freeport looks interesting; however, I've never run it. It doesn't necessairly fit the cosmology of...

    Published or homemade adventures?

I love a good module in principal, but find them to be constraining on creativity, so generally try to use my own material at least 70-80% (although it usually comes in closer to 90-95%) of the time.

    NPCs/monsters archive or book?

Everyone else is an excellent resource for the time-strapped GM. There is a wide variety of stat blocks with appropriate skills/feats/iirc equipment for a multitude of NPC roles.

    Cover of City of Stormreach

    It's the iconic warforged wizard.

Do You Build As You Go?

For me, it depends on who is DM'ing and for how long. In a quick 3-4 session campaign (usually to give me a break) I will take whatever is expedient; however, in a long-term campaign I try and come up with a character concept that requires several levels to fully realize.

Would it be cannibalism to eat a polymorphed chicken?

I'd argue that it is cannibalism in the situation that the person eating the chicken is aware that the chicken is a polymorphed creature. Physically, the chicken would be a typical chicken, so the standard consumer wouldn't know that the chicken was in fact Tordek the dwarven fighter. Edit: I...

What is the best "generic" setting?

I voted for Kingdoms of Kalamar for a couple of reasons: 1) The physical geography is realistic, and the attention to detail is very well done. 2) The way they have structured the pantheon is simply genius. There are a bunch of gods, and they have different names in different cultures. Some...

Wizards of the Coast/Kenzer & Company License Agreements Expiring

Kenzer and Co. have released a few Kingdoms of Kalamar products without the D&D logo to test the waters, so I imagine they will continue to do so... Edit: Personally, I'm holding out for the Hackmaster 5e/Kalamar boxed set

    An Evil party... Troublesome?

IMHO backstabbing and intense power-politics are part of the experience that an "evil campaign" offers. The evil party member should be using their companions to achieve their own personal goals, whatever those may be. As a GM, I'd suggest a limited and pre-set duration, as dwelling on darkness...

    C&C - Maybe A Dumb Question but . . .

I believe that those who want feats just add them back in, or at least that is what I've gathered from the various C&C threads.

    Now this Sucks

It seems like the logical consequences for a party splitting up; what I want to know is why are a samurai and a ninja not trying to kill each other?

Wizards of the Coast/Kenzer & Company License Agreements Expiring

I'll add that I am glad to hear that Kenzerco has a plan - and am awaiting Hackmaster 5th Edition (with some KoK goodness) :D

Advice on running high level adventures

Merciful weapons are your friend - particularly when paired with dual-wielding, flanking rogues, with rapiers. Cheesy? Maybe, but they put down a frenzied berserker in two rounds... (although, he didn't get a chance to frenzy...)
