C&C: A Lion in the Ropes

Reluctantly , you each start off to the east along the road. Silence again falls over the village as you leave. To the north past what appears to be the dark shape of a wood you see a fire burning atop a high place- a tower of some kind. Darkness and the trees block this view, but you estimate...

C&C: A Lion in the Ropes

Norgim walks around the village. With his enchanced vison the paladin notices another smaller path leading away north, while the main road continues east. The village itself is small, perhaps 20 small cottages with thatched roofs. As he looks for lodgings, Norgim sees nothing that looks large...

Enterprise to get a 2nd chance in Canada?

It sounds like another third party/fan based attmept to produce the show instead of Paramount. And unless an entity like the Sci-Fi channel(which appears to ahve no interest) wants to buy it, Enterprise is dead, regardless of how much money fangroups raise.

C&C: A Lion in the Ropes

The troupe hitches the horses to the wagons. Slowly at first the wagons turn and gain the road. Turning west they begin to pull away. "Good journey friends," cries out Johan, "may Fharlanghn guide your steps til you arrive at your destination!" And so the party heads east. Four hours you...

Were there clerics in Lord of the Rings?

While technically true, I was still being metaphorical in regard to Tolkien's emphasis and love of nature, and the place elves hold in the world (ie being tied to exist until, the ending of the world.) Eru and the Valinor are the creators..Arda is the cathedral.. and the elves are the clergy. So...

Castle Zagyg is it 3.x compatible?

Id check out Troll Lords Games website, they have a monsters pdf that gives you an idea what to expect. C&C is a weird beast-not quite DnD and not quite OGL. Alot of animals abilites are stripped down and manifested differently, but reverse engineering may be hard to but not impossible...

What RPG books/manuals do you really regret buying?

Hero Builders Guide- basically background ideas and a name generator? Thanks! Several of the first few 3.0 class splat books. They got better but the first one or so didnt seem to be worth the cost.

    I m a girl get over it

While I agree with much of what has been said about women and gaming and find it interesting, I also have to pause and smile at the length of the thread. Only among gamers, almost sterotypically so, would a thread by a woman about women attract 208 replies in six pages in the space of 16...

Were there clerics in Lord of the Rings?

This is true but I was sort of being metaphorical. While you can argue back and forth, traditional D&D "battle priests" dont really seem to fit the worldview/feel of Middle Earth. But thats just my opinion.

C&C: A Lion in the Ropes

Telion smiles at the dwarf. "If you knew Pugh you would understand. Sober, he is short tempered, prone to argue, and fond of it as well. But usually he is of a good natured sort." "Indeed, but when he drinks, which is too often, "Johan interjects, "his good naturedness disappears, and his mood...

Were there clerics in Lord of the Rings?

I think someone from these boards ( or maybe not) put it best: Nature is the religion of Middle Earth, and the elves are its priests.

OOC Missed this. The skies both day and night have been cloudy, almost completely so. However the moon is in a waxing gibbous phase.
