    Spellcasting Prodigy

Could be a bit unbalanced at 1st and 2nd level, but I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Interestingly, this will provide benefit for the caster's high-end spells but not the low-end ones. I think that's kind of cool thematically, fitting the definition of 'prodigy'; the character is quicker...

    [d20 Modern] Chaff Grenade

Calm down. He asked for something emulating Metal Gear Solid, so I gave it to him. In MGS, I'm fairly certain that pretty glowing bits of something float around the area where the chaff grenade is set off. No, it isn't realistic. But neither is d20.

    Half-Axiom/Half-Anarch

Dragon 297 included law and chaos genasi. The axani and the cansin, I believe. Like most planetouched races, they have a +1 level adjustment for a few ok abilities, making them generally underpowered IMHO.

    [d20 Modern] Chaff Grenade

I haven't played d20 Modern, but if I were to take a blind stab at it, I'd say something like this: Chaff Grenades: This device explodes one round after the pin is pulled, emitting large amounts of electromagnetic radiation and spraying a 10-foot radius around the point of the explosion with...

    D&D 3.x BoVD 3.5e: Hellbound!

Tiniest. Nitpick. Ever. There's no 'greater oozy mind' to go with 'lesser oozy mind'. "You are technically correct... the best kind of correct." edit: I cannot spell.

    Magical Firearms

In Serious Sam, the pistols were equipped with Techno-Magical Ammunition Replenishers which teleported bullets into the chambers each time you ran dry. A Replenishing mod, which magically allows the gun to be reloaded with normal bullets as a standard action (maybe move-action if it's a...

Heal skill used for actual healing of hit points?

It really depends on your players (player?). Certainly I think it is fine from a gameplay standpoint; however, some people might complain that it makes no sense from a realism standpoint to group all damage by encounters.

FINAL FANTASY....Myrkr Foe 5/20,new finished system attached

Are you sure? I find errors like forgetting to put a space after a comma or misplacing apostrophes to be dead giveaways of native speakers. People who learn English as a second language tend to actual learn the rules of it, unlike us lazy folk who were born into it.

FINAL FANTASY....Myrkr Foe 5/20,new finished system attached

I was going to run with "What in God's holy name are you blathering about?", but I think the diplomatic approach might be better. I second John's motion.

    Anime Weapons for DnD

http://tkdtutor.com/15Weapons/Offensive/KusariGama.htm I know they had this thing in the 1e Oriental Adventures; not sure about the current edition. I would probably make it an exotic double weapon, with one end doing 1d6 slashing damage, and the other doing 1d4 bludgeoning damage with a bonus...

    literature-esque area shield effect?

Impromptu Ward Abjuration Level: ? Components: S, F Casting Time: 1 free action Area: 30 foot emanation, centered on you Duration: 1 round or until discharged You may cast this spell even when it isn't your turn. The next time an effect would deal elemental damage to you and at least one other...

How do you handle "farming" in your games?

Building Scarecrow Golem that actually chases down and kills crows: priceless. There are some things that magic can't build. For everything else, there's Craft Wondrous Item.

    Alternate Paladin "companions"?

I was replying to the original post. Your system is much more sensible imho; however, it may be easier to get your DM to just allow a non-mount animal with the standard PHB rules.

    Alternate Paladin "companions"?

I can't see anything abusable about it. If you're looking for ideas, a hound, a hawk, or a lion (higher-level character) would seem like natural companions for a paladin.

Some new races: Golems and Prayags

I kind of like the idea of there being golems that are just more-or-less ordinary folks. Maybe that isn't what you were going for, but certainly making golems an ECL 0 race with actual minds makes them feel that way to me. In my opinion, stat boosts should come in +2s or not at all. I would...

    Is power attack too powerful?

I guess my entire point is, the concept of finding a mathematical optimization for Power Attack seems to fly in the face of what the feat is. I think its application should be something that is decided by the player's feelings, not a formula, and that the rules behind it should reflect that so...

    Pathfinder 1E [Paizo] Dragon #317

It might just happen. Of course, she did kill that 2E dual class 19th-level ranger/20th-level cleric guy, so I'm not holding my breath. Does anyone else think it sucks that the factions had to go underground in Sigil? Sort of defeats the purpose of the setting, methinks...

    Is power attack too powerful?

Maybe it's just me, but I always thought the 'optimizing' aspect of Power Attack was far too nerdy. Doesn't it feel so dumb to tell your DM, "Krug howls in pain and charges the wizard, delivering a mighty overhanded blow with power attack for... um. Holdon a sec, lemme get out the...

    Is +2/-2 really enough?

Maybe, but only until I introduced whatever splatbook they came from to my Iconic Paper Shredder.
