That is just dishonest no you do not get to pick all of those things any more than you get to pick all the spells for the other feat. once every other fight the rest of the time nothing nothing nothing. And the magic initiate one lets you pick 2 cantrips which can do a heck of variety of things

i was comparing it to maneuvers... there isnt one that matches it because of restricted uses for maneuvers they were made inferior but you prefer martial be inferior as that is more "fun" so we have nothing in common, makes it hard to discuss.

it is a bit of an odd topic but real world athletes can be extraordinary. Similarly there are real world archers doing snap shot barrages of arrows in attempts to duplicate some historical techniques that have been scoffed at.
