Oh hell, yeah! I think Sonata's CD comes out in April or May. They put a track list on their website recently. I'm looking forward to it. Had things gone my way, I would've made the 5 hour drive to Chicago to see Blind Guardian. :( PS: Thanks for the link!

Nothing in dragon is canon. Nothing in any 3rd party book is canon. Nothing in any WotC products is canon. The only time ANYTHING is canon is for "Living" campaigns. If your DM doesn't want to use the Savage Species Incubus, you've got two choices. 1. Change his mind. 2. Play something else.

Make a change to a KEY encounter to throw him off and possibly screw the party if he plays it by the spoilers.

I agree with Rhun. Have the character make a save. If he fails, nothing happens: he is immune to it. If he succeeds, the effect is reflected back.

Lion's Den Press' Iconic Bestiary: Classics of Fantasy has OGL creatures to fill the gap left by some of these. It's a good buy if you want to publish something using one of these creatures not in the SRD.

Agreed. I've been a fan of the Chimera since X3: Curse of Xanathon was released. Late in 2nd edition I finally got one for a high-level evil charcater near the end of the campaign.
