All PC dead, what to do?

I think You're wrong, but it doesn't matters because the killer has Open Lock +10 and the DC was 10. Coup de grace = critical hit, so sneak 2d6 + crit from short sword 2d6 plus Str bonus.

All PC dead, what to do?

There were three PCs. Everyone has a room for one person only (as in module). Everyone failed Listen to hear "sneak to sleeping PC" check only.

All PC dead, what to do?

NPC, very weak at my standards, low pointbuy, no equipement, she was nobody. female Human Rog4; HD 4d8+4; hp 26; Init +3; Spd 30 ft.; AC 16 (+3 Dex, +3 masterwork studded leather), touch 13, flat-footed 13; BAB/Grap +3/+4; Atk +7 melee (1d6, masterwork rapier,18–20); AL NE; SV Fort +2, Ref +7...

All PC dead, what to do?

We have serious crisis on the session, because all my 7th-level PCs were murdered in their sleep by single Rog4 killer. She sneaked to each single-person room, took 20 on Open Lock check, next non of the PC succedded on Listen -10 check, then she delivered coup de grace (automatically...

    Has Enworld made you better?

Absolutely yes. Hundreds of good avdices, possibility to ask designers personally (Marmell, Jacobs, Cook) reviews, I love this place.

Birthright. Tell Me About It. Please.

Oh yes, I've changed these rules this year at least, and it's much easier to run adventures in Brt right now. eg. I don't need to modify Red Hand of Doom or Races of the Wild etc. etc. etc., because I have Corellon Larethian and Yondalla now.

Birthright. Tell Me About It. Please.

Sad, but probably true, because WotC decisions are based on market research. There is always hope - at least - that one day appears a company with enough money to pay even absurdal licence fee and enough good faith in planned design - print. But now, I find AD&D 2 ed rulebooks (with a little...

Doom of Listenshire, tell me about it!

I don't know. I'm here not to advertise Forge, so - if you like - put your e-mail (even brand new for one use only), so I'll send you free complimentary copies of these two pdfs.

Doom of Listenshire, tell me about it!

These are from Ptolus Sketchbook: Necropolis, Medieval Landscapes 1 & 2, and free Woodland Cut Tavern. I'll use these pics to build a mood at the session. I started to run DoL, but my session ends in the moment when the PCs took a quest from the NPC outside Listonshire (a duke's senior) to go...

Doom of Listenshire, tell me about it!

Today, I'll run DoL. I prepared some pics form my players: 1. The Liston Family Crypt 2. Wichtleins' Abandoned Mine 3. Ersula's Home 4. The Bridge at Turin's Crossing 5. The Road's End Inn and Tavern

Which Environment book would you buy?

Frost Frostburn is one of the worst rpg books I've ever read. 75% of monsters have improved grab, 1d6 frost damage and nothing new. 75% of the spells are ice variants of PHB spells. Adventures are typical boring dungeon crawls by Baur. Sand I've used a lot of material from Sandstorm at my game...

    Cityscape

:( I see this book after nearly 1 1/2 month, so until this time I will love this thread.

Birthright. Tell Me About It. Please.

I'm curious why some company doesn't publish it independently (like Ravenloft or Dragonlance)? Is it question of money only?

I play BIRTHRIGHT from nearly 10 years. IMHO it's the best campaing setting ever.

Doom of Listenshire, tell me about it!

Oinodaemon, Lord of Plague, demon prince of all plagues - he's one of evil guys of this story. He's called that, because Necromancer games rescect OGL, but... What is his counterpart in D&D (Hordes of the Abyss etc.)?

What is the general opinion of Burlews diplomacy rules?

Where I Can find these rules? Thanks for help.

Doom of Listenshire, tell me about it!

The Doom of Listonshire 4/5 The adventure takes place mainly in the wilderness: forests, lakeshores, caverns, haunted hamlets and ruins. That's what I like, especially when I'm playing ranger or druid character. Main theme of the adventure is a searching for classical three pieces of map /...

War of the Burning Sky, an E.N. Publishing Campaign Saga

Consider me a buyer. I love war and political themes (that's why I'm playing BIRTHRIGHT 10 years!). I offer my help as the concept artist, and The Forge Studios graphic artists too.
