D&D 4E Hey everyone! If you're tired of 4e threads cluttering the forum...

I'm sick of so called 4e too. Sometimes look like half of Enworlders are WotC employees, and another half d20 publishers.

    Evil power behind the king?

Yes, she is. I like your idea. But I mean something broader, the idea behind hell: "turn the realm to alignment LE". It's not personal, so felxible - but epic (in not necessary D&D-ish meaning of this word) struggle, which lasts many centuries, creates wars, rebellions etc. And "Lord of...

PrC Entries - Sample NPCs, yes or no?

When I don't understand some rule in class description, I look into statblocks, and usually I find there an answer to my dilema. But free web enhancement is good idea, too.

I like it very much, if HeroForge will make this format statblock - I will love it.

    DMG2 & PHB2 - are they worth it!

This is true for every D&D book with the exception of three core books and campaign setting. This is ordinary situation when dealing with HANDBOOK or any MANUAL. A lot of texts in DMG2 are not RULES, but ADVICES for DM (eg. players' traits) - something you can learn if you're DM, to be better DM.

    Save or die spells/effects

Eventually, you can have a choice to do second saving throw next round; if you will pass - you are free of all effects; if you will fall - you will die. or some failed save-or-die save consequenses can be reduced, eg. sleep / ghoul touch - not to sleep, but forced to total defence.

    DMG2 & PHB2 - are they worth it!

Not at all, but DMG2 is one of five 3e rulebooks I bought. PHB2 is full of solid (in system sense) classes and feats. Here is a link to ours old one pdf of manor (knight's hamlet) management.
