Tomb of Horrors - your experiences?

THIS IS A THINKING PERSON’S MODULE. AND IF YOUR GROUP IS A HACK AND SLAY GATHERING, THEY WILL BE UNHAPPY! WHAHAHAHAHA! He should have also said, "If your characters don't like to die and finish the module at 1st level when they went in at 10, they will be unhappy!"

    Quick TWF Question

You know, the left handed gay population is seriously under-repesentated in gaming today. Sounds like a class action lawsuit waiting to happen!

    computer help

Actually, they were outdated in the late 80's. It depends on what you are going to be using the computer for. If you want to run a server, web site, or the like, get a Novell or Linux. If you plan on gaming or other general uses, get a PC, because they cost less then Macs for the same...

My GF is a vampire what do I do???

I'd dump her so fast she'd get whiplash. It's one thing to be naturaly insane, it's another thing to willingly jump into insanity, that is both crazy AND stupid.

A Essay -- The Knight vs. the Samurai

I have always felt that a samurai at the peak of their ability in time would get their ass handed to them by knights in their peak of their ability in time. Unless a horseback mounted samurai bowman got very lucky with an arrow, the knight is going to close range and chew them up.

    Quick TWF Question

Speaking as a gay man, I resent hetrosexuality being the default, so there! :) Edit: And as far as I am concerned, left handed people are as queer as I am. ;)

I take an AOO on my ally

Actually, it is defined in the PHB glossary. An enemy is anyone unfriendly to the character. None the less, there is nothing in the game that dictates who is an ally and who is an enemy. There is no no-PVP flag over your party members head, there is no hostile tag over your opponents. The...

Ever kill a familiar? I did.

I had a jackass DM try that once. Raven was flying over a city at night. The DM decided that 10 archers guarding the town saw it as a threat and shot at it. Needless to say, I metagamed the hell out of the rest of the time I played with him, despite his whining about it. :)

    D&D 3.x Shuriken have changed in 3.5E

Actually, you CAN make an off hand attack when unarmed as a monk. The passage in question is worded in such a way that it makes it seem not possible, but this is addressed clearly in the FAQ. You -can- make an unarmed off hand attack, while the passage in the PHB meant to say is that you can...

Those still a waste to do, you can make them returning. 50% of those that miss will return.

    D&D 3.x Shuriken have changed in 3.5E

I dunno, there is a point in time where it just becomes required to point out the obvious to someone who can't see.

    D&D 3.x Shuriken have changed in 3.5E

Again, you keep getting hung up on rules that no longer exist. Two weapon fighting applies equally to ALL weapons now, there is NOTHING, NO WHERE in the 3.5 PHB that limits it to melee weapons, NOTHING. Don't assume the books say something they do not. They say they work on any weapons, not...

    D&D 3.x Shuriken have changed in 3.5E

Exactly, and according to the RAW, there is nothing wrong with using Rapid Shot, Flurry, or the TWF feats all at thesame time.

    D&D 3.x Shuriken have changed in 3.5E

I don't see how you see this as unreasonable. With Rapid Shot, you throw darts quickly enough that you can throw an additional one than normal. With two weapon fighting, you throw a dart in your offhand as well. Rapid shot is with your primary hand (should be, anyhow), while the TWF feat...

    D&D 3.x Shuriken have changed in 3.5E

Well, this will assume you are using pre-loaded crossbows. You still need two hands to reload them, so you will need to drop one to reload the other. So, regardless of your BAB or TWF feats, you'll only get to shoot one of those crossbows once in a round.

    D&D 3.x Shuriken have changed in 3.5E

Like all oppinions, some are less right that others. :) Rapid shot allows you to make an additional ranged attack per round. Two weapon fighting lets you make one additional attack per round (melee or ranged), though in your off hand and at a reduced strength bonus to damage. This really is...

    D&D 3.x Shuriken have changed in 3.5E

Except there is NOTHING anywhere that implies that Rapid Shot cannot be used with Two Weapon Fighting.
